Stayed at the Atlantis for 2 nights as a solo female travelling.
I walked everywhere, most things I wanted to see were within a 40 min stroll which meant I got to see lots of foot.
I got the Skybus from the airport which drops you literally a 5 min walk over the road.
My room was big, clean and comfy bed. Staff friendly.
Didn't use the breakfast of other facilities. Would stay again.

Went for 2 nights have stayed before but not with my other half. He loved the Atlantis and is a little fuss pot.
The room on the 12th floor overlooking Etihad stadium construction work also in progress so the view probably wont be for much longer. The police building also blocks out a lot of rooms views as well I would imagine.
The room clean bathroom yes mould in tiles get over that I have that in my shower at home can't see what the big deal is there.
Fridge, kettle, tv, radio, hairdryer, iron and board the usual suspects.
Location is a premium here a very short walk from skybus and the trams right at door just make sure you don't want to go all the way down spencer st as trams do not go all the way down they turn off.
Great café over the road Code 3 brilliant and cheap as chips. Didn't have breakfast in hotel as it was extra this time.
Never saw anyone on the floors and lifts super quick.
Carparking was available as well.
Would stay again.
For those wanting to check in early just arrive drop your bags free of charge and come back after 2pm.
And I requested a late check out as well no problem.

It’s not a huge hotel but it was clean, had all the amenities and was quiet. The usual tea and coffee, refrigerator, easily controlled air-conditioning, toiletries, seating area, TV were all there. The bed was comfortable, the towels replaced daily and the room cleaned. The check-in staff always had a smile and were very polite (good training). We were at the back of the building and didn’t have the best of views, but not many rooms there would. We were up on the 7th floor (out of 9) and you hardly ever came into contact with other guests (the hotel was almost full) other than seeing them in the hotel lobby whilst you walked in or out. You could hear guests talking when they walk past the room but you’d hear that even in some of the best hotels and most people don’t stand in a hotel corridor having a full on conversation. At 25m2 for the standard room, it was spacious enough.
What we really liked about the place was its proximity to Southern Cross Station – this is the transport hub for Victoria, so everything goes into and leaves from here. The suburban trains pass through here on the city circle loop. It’s one of the first stops, so you are sure to get a seat on the train if that’s important. You can get your transport tickets here, the airport bus, the local trains, etc. Then there’s the tram line just outside the door – the tram that stops here gets you into Bourke St mall. If you walk a short distance either way to Bourke St or La Trobe St, you can catch other tram lines to Docklands (for Harbour Town shopping centre and pitiful restaurants) or to South Wharf (for Crown Casino if you don't know of better ways to spend your money). The stops near the hotel are all within the free tram zone! Just jump on and go. Above Southern Cross Station is a shopping centre with many of the usual shops.
We had absolutely no regrets staying at the Atlantis – it was a good choice and we were more than happy with our stay there.

Great budget hotel. Perfect location beside trams and bus station to airport. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Swimming pool, sauna and gym, all at a great price. Best of all, fantastic reception staff - more friendly and helpful than in many 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very conveniently located near the Southern Cross station where the Skybus from/to the airport also stops/starts. It is within the northwestern edge of the free tram zone so you can take any tram that stops nearby and ride it for free as long as you're headed towards the city center. This makes everything within easy reach from the hotel.
There is a Coles grocery store across the street and a 7-11 a little further down near the bus station entrance if you need supplies.
The room was clean. It was cleaned everyday with fresh towels provided.
No microwave oven in the room but a water boiler is provided along with instant coffee, cream and sugar, and tea cups and saucers as well as glasses.
The bed was very comfortable! On the soft side, but comfortable.
Didn't bother with the $12 breakfast buffet which consisted mostly of cereals, assorted bread, scrambled eggs, beans and fruit. Didn't see any breakfast meats.
They gladly accommodated our request for a late check out (12 noon) as we had an afternoon flight.
All in all, our stay was very pleasant and comfortable.
