More casual visits to my favourite Motel in Hobart
Malcolm Mon 16/08/2017 04:48As I have mentioned before, this motel is great value for visitors to the Hobart area especially coming in from the north of the state. Easy to find on the Brooker Highway. Privately owned and operated with great local food and wine. The rooms are all very modern, warm and comfortable. I cannot wait for my next visit.

Adelaide2800on 07/08/2017 10:51We stayed at The Best Western on the Brooker Hwy which was convenient, parking available & no real issues from highway noise. My main negative feedback would be that the Best Western needs to replace all its old lumpy smelly pillows with new ones, it was rather unpleasant to put your head on each night. Some stains on the lounge, nails sticking up between the joins in the lino & carpet, towel rail was falling off, tiles fallen off had been fixed back to the wall with screws etc. My husband found some long hairs in the bed and in the bathroom which made him question how good the cleaners were. kitchenette was clean and very handy. We had plenty of hot water for showers. Service at reception was lovely.

CraigN2304on 30/07/2017 02:57If your wanting to stay somewhere just out of the city this offers great value for money. You are right on the main road in/out of Hobart; yet accessible to everything , but it is still quiet, comfortable and clean.
We had the best Christmas in July reception
Angie Hon 28/07/2017 06:08This was our 3rd time that we celebrated Christmas in July at the Balmoral Motor Inn and we have not been disappointed. The food was excellent and the deserts are also very yummy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best were the Christmas decorations which was an excellent display. I Certainly recommend this place.
