Excellent restoration
WILLIAM Fon 21/05/2017 22:13between a few years ago and our current visit, this BW has had a major upgrade in the rooms with improved lighting, window treatments to darken the room, mattresses, and basic furniture amenities. The bathrooms have also been refurbished but remain small. The value for the price was very good.
Clean value place for a night
phillip con 21/05/2017 17:08While traveling back to Ohio from Florida on interstate 77 need a place near the highway to sleep one night. The Bryson Inn was easy to find and was not in a busy area. The lobby was clean and the staff couldn,t be more helpful. I asked for a room way in the back which was very quiet. The room was clean and I liked to flat screen T and the free wy/fi. I thought the hotel was a value for seniors and AAA members. The breakfast was fine and I enjoyed the waffles and biscuits and gravy. It was easy to check out and I would stay there again!
Very nice hotel off I-77
kermit67on 18/05/2017 14:04Stopped here after a long drive from St. Pete Beach, FL to Ohio. The room was very nice, great beds, very clean. Had a fridge in our room, close to truck stop restaurant that delivers food if you don't want to go down to eat there. Close to "Mayberry!" Breakfast was your normal waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy (no sausage), pastries, etc. Great price to for a nice hotel.
Hidden gem in the mountains
Emmily Won 13/05/2017 17:11Friendly staff, clean room, great pool, even good breakfast. Great stopping place on north/south travel. We stop here whenever we are returning to Southport from the Detroit, MI area. A real hidden gem just outside Mt. Airy, NC.
Nice Hotel
rdpineon 13/05/2017 14:56This was a nice hotel. Rooms were clean. Could use some updating. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was better than most medium priced hotels. The hotel was close to the interstate. However they do not tell you in the description that it is 8 miles from the town or Mt. Airy. Also, hotel is not visible from the road--need to remove some trees. Overall stay was good.
