Rooms have EVERYTHING

This trip was not business for once, but I discovered a gem hidden along my most travelled Highway, 31 or "The Hume"
My wife has also commented about the Hotel/Motel and all is a big OK.

We requested a 2 bedroom apartment, the Best Western rate was good, but we had not yet sighted the room.

The first level is all kitchen, bathroom and lounge room.
Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms

Downstairs, the kitchen has a large refrigerator, separate automatic mini bar, dishwasher, oven, microwave and much more than you would ever see. Better than Quest or other apartment hotels.
Bathroom has both shower, separate large bath and fantastic water pressure without the usual water saver shower heads, we both loved the bathroom.
Lounge featured a huge Samsung Smart TV, Dining table, office deck and many comfy lounge chairs
The balcony overlooked the Governors Tower and the morning sunrise.

The airconditioning was already on when we arrived, the very best touch that is rarely seen in accomodation today. There are aircon units in all bedrooms as well as the lower level. The powerful Mitsubishi Commercial system will cope very well in the heat and cold loads of this elevated Highland city. ( 702 metres above sea level )

Nothing is too much trouble, we decided at 9.00am to have room service breakfast, it was delivered within 10 minutes.

Goulburn is one of my most frequent destinations and I look forward to many more visits each year.

Love the cheery staff and professional attitude.

Reception Rudeness!

Peter Jon 09/08/2017 12:06

We enjoyed our stay, everything was lovely and well presented on arrival. The following morning we went to the dining room for breakfast. The woman on reception was sour faced, rude and very unpleasant. We let her know our room number and said we were there for the buffet breakfast. With a condescending tone, she quickly told us that we would have to speak to the dining staff about breakfast, not her!
I watched as she dealt with other guests and noticed the same cold, stone faced reception. I later enquired as to the name of the woman - Vicky Rap johns.

Great rooms

Friendly staff and great room, very happy I chose this hotel. The bed and pillows were excellent, I went with a group and everyone had the same story - very comfortable accommodation, wished I could have stayed another night to fully enjoy.

Great value, very comfortable and we enjoyed the restaurant so much!

Best Western, we like you!

Not very far off the M1 and easy to find. Check-in was professional and without delay after a long drive from Victoria. Great communication observed between all staff and visiting guests. The property was buzzing the night we stayed. They have a lot of units and the place appeared to be almost fully booked.

It was a very chilly night but heating in room was efficient. Bed and bed linen were clean, sheets cosy, very comfortable, nice quality - exceptionally good. Room and bathroom were both clean and very spacious with bath and separate shower. Nice separate seating PLUS small table and chairs. Plenty of baggage space. No exterior noise and enjoyed a great nights sleep
(King Superior room for $165 per night, Seniors Rate).

The lobby, lounge and restaurant areas were all well heated. Nice touches to the décor in public spaces.

Their CASCADES RESTAURANT would measure up to some of the best in big city environs. Ambience excellent. Nicely trained staff. Presentation and flavours of food were excellent. Menu offered plentiful variation for culture and palate. A lovely finale to a long day.

Recommend highly and would stay again.

Not a bad option for a stay

We have stayed at a few of the hotels in Goulburn and this is one of the better options. The lofts are a great idea and having a heater in the bathroom is an added bonus. Large tv both upstairs and downstairs is great.

Rooms are very clean and staff friendly.

There is a microwave and toaster in the room for those who want it.

We would definitely consider staying again.
