Beresfordson 14/08/2017 17:12This was a wonderful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The superior room was very comfortable and well maintained. It was very clean ( compliments to the staff). We really valued the air conditioning. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk into the centre of Bastia where we could access all that this town has to offer.
It's misleading to call it centre
filipealexandreon 02/08/2017 21:48It's actually quite a long walk from the centre, especially on the ascending way back.
The rooms are well equipped but the curtains don't prevent the sun light from entering the window, which is bad for your sleep quality early morning.

Svitlana Zon 12/07/2017 18:49Comfortable hotel. Located a bit away from the city centre though. 10 minutes on foot from the railway station, where the bus to/from the airport stops. This is not a big deal if there is no luggage, otherwise the way to the hotel is a bit uphill. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the city, citadel. The room was good, with all needed. A complementary bottle of water and a tea kettle are in the room. Wifi works very well. Good breakfast. Nice, efficient staff. Check-in time is 16:00, I came at 15 and something and was ready to wait in the lobby, but the room was available and I got the key without any delays.
Good but can improve
Roxana Mon 26/06/2017 14:11We spent 3nights, 4days at Best Weatern in Bastia. The stuff was kind, the hotel is clean.
So, I won't say that was bad because it wasn't however I will mentione same 'small surprises'. Surprises which by the way, didn't hurt me but lets say that its worth to be pointed out:
- parking spot: you need to pay 8eur for a place in the underground parking and/or 5eur for outside parking.
- breakfast: no diversity! Every morning the same thing: a kind of ham, a kind of salami, a kind of cheese, boiled eggs, jams, butter and some pancakes. Coffee, tea, water and ok, 2 types of bread.
- after cleaning, in the room persist a bad smell - I think because poor quality of the detergents.
So, yes, I see things to improve and easily!

A bit away from the city but walkable
Calvin-Hobbes44on 19/05/2017 07:07The hotel is located east (and uphill) of the city centre. So you need a 20-30 minutes walk to get there. Driving the car in town at the end of pm is impossible. The hotel is nice, very clean and well kept. Happy with the stay.
