Worth a stay

Situated in the centre of Armidale, this historic building and gardens was a delight to experience. The owners are friendly and hospitable and the rooms comfortable.
I had the best nights sleep in days when I stopped there.

There is a restaurant on site, with a wine bar, lounge and pool room complete with log fire. The food was amazing and made the whole experience just about perfect. Highly recommended.

Best Motel

Arriving at Best Western Cotswold Gardens on a cold afternoon, the warm welcome we received was appreciated. The room was clean and warm, the bar convivial and the restaurant inviting. All up, a great place to rest on the long trip from Brisbane via Tamworth to the snowfields down south.

A Good Night's Sleep

We stayed at Cotswold's Gardens last week.
Overall, the motel was quite good. I was a little put off that despite us booking
using the website, there wasn't a record of our booking. Luckily, I had a copy of the confirmation email sent to me. It didn't matter as there was a room available.

The motel is quite nice in a traditional way however the soft furnishings in the rooms could be modernised. The room was very warm and cosy and we had an excellent night's sleep.

The bathrooms were cold and the soap holder in the shower was broken.
There were large dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel which was a good idea.

Overall, I would recommend this motel as it looks like most of Armidale's motels are quite dated. I thought the rate we paid quite expensive for this particular room.

Comfortable, convenient hotel

We were only going to stay for one night, but ended up staying 2 because it was so nice, and there is so much to do in and around Armidale. The hotel was really pleasant, as were all the staff we encountered. The tea and coffee facilities and mini bar were well stocked, the bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious with everything we needed. Easy walk into the city centre. Highly recommended!

Revisiting life as a student at ACAE

This motel's setting appealed to me for our stay here and I definitely made the right choice! Close to town so a quick drive or a doable walk. The room was roomy and comfortable. Loved the morning sun streaming in our window! The owners run the motel and restaurant. We found them very welcoming and enjoyed their presence and conversation in the restaurant. We highly recommend dining on the restaurant- had both dinner and breakfast while here. Thoroughly enjoyed- delicious and hearty size . Quality and quantity! Not unreasonable prices either. Will definitely return and recommend to others
