Worse place to stay

Traveling with my husband n 3 little kids , arrived at 1130 pm , no parking n lots of drunk people in parking lot from restaurant next door , got to room it was sooo hot my 2 year old was saying too hot , went to use restroom and roaches running all over bathroom , water running in shower and mold , dirty walls and pillows , dirty refrig with someone else's beer , was charged twice for this room , clerk tried telling I was a no show and then checked in today at 4 am , was told charges pending and then asked if I know what pending means . I travel all the time never had such a bad experience . Still haven't been credited for second charge .

This has to be the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen, after checking in to our room I was shocked to see the walls were dirty as was the fridge, pillowcase was stained and it looked as if it hadn't been hoovered in a very long time....I walked straight back out as no way was I staying there and the staff didn't seemed shocked when I complained

This place is dreadful.

Only one light worked.
The carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time!
The bed sheets & pillow cases were stained.
The refrigerator had mould in it.
Etc., etc.
Can only recommend people to avoid the place!

Red Lion Hotel Bakersfield

It was an old hotel thad needs a renovation.
We had to wait a long time for breakfast because you had to order it. Many people walked away from breakfast because it took too much time.It was no buffet.
The staff was not polite.
The wifi was terrible.

Electrical outlet for coffee maker did not work, 6 vending machines would not take my dollar for water and hot water in shower leaked. To be fair, staff was friendly and the room seemed clean. A few insects in the bathroom. This is a rough hotel and should get two stars.
