Overall A Good Stay

While the WiFi was a bit slow, that didn't detract from the stay much. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. That's what counts to me. The only strike I have against it was when my room key stopped working. They reprogrammed it with no issue, but I was a bit surprised when they didn't ask for identification to verify I was the one staying in the room. They just programmed it and handed it back. While they may have remembered me from check-in the previous day, a bit of security would've been nice. I wouldn't be offended if asked for ID in many cases, this one especially. Overall though, no major issues with the stay and I was impressed with the hotel overall.

We always stay overnight in Best Western Kingsville when we drive from Dallas to Brownsville. The rooms are very clean. The king size beds are very comfortable. The staff is very attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

This BW property is a very nice well kept location with clean rooms and and good linens and all the service products in room like micro, fridge, i-net, comfortable bed but the day was unseasonably warm, and AC was not cooling, checked with front desk and they gave me room next door, oops! it was not made up, thought I might have gone into someone els's room but that was not the case, Thankfully, got the next room in line and all was well. Just had to move all material that I had brought in. Other than that, room was comfortable and everything worked, only felt a little shortchanged when discovered only one washcloth but since I was only one in room it did not matter. Book your stay here, rates have come down a bit from when oilfield activity was keeping rates up. That is good for consumer, pool was looking good but you know warm winter day made me fell like water would still be cold, it is a nice pool and area there for bbq with a pit and overhang on patio next to it.

Very clean and comfortable room. I felt relaxed in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the rest of the furniture was nice. A coffee maker, microwave and mini frig were provided. I would stay here again.

Nice setting beautiful room , we booked a four night stay.. We don't have a real agenda ..just escaping the horrible weather in eastern Oregon. We were headed for rock port and this was a reasonable pleasant place. We have a black and white border collie we declared him and the price quited was with the dog. A very friendly golden lab dog was hanging around I kind of assumed it was with the motel. We fed it some table scraps and were amused to see that it was in our lawn chairs when we were inside. It was New Year's Eve.. About 7!we got a call from management. He refused to believe that it wasn't our dog and accused us of trying to sneak a dog in. I explained that we had a black dog. The jerk called back twenty minutes later and we had the same conversation. It ruined our evening we had looked forward to sitting iother nod watching the fireworks. But we brought our chairs in and that was that . When we checked out the jerk tried to up the price on us by saying that we hadn't been charged a pet fee. Carl explained that we weren't first time travelers and we were paying the quoted price which did include the pet fee. His wife did apologize for the dog incident. However the damage was done. I am in real estate and understand how difficult running a motel can be but this man is clearly not suited for the hospitality profession.
