For the price this is a good deal...if u don't mind stairs only to the 2nd floor. No elevator in this older building. Nice outdoor pool, nice breakfast area, and lobby. Everything kept clean and updated. When u drive up u wonder if u made a mistake but ull b pleasantly surprised when u go inside. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast on par with Hampton Inn quality. A good place to overnight on ur way elsewhere. Fast food close by or an authentic BBQ joint a few doors away.

A pleasant stay

In the dark and very heavy rain on the way to Florida we decided it was time to stop. We chose the Executive Inn because we like indoor corridors and not outdoor ones. It was a good stop, inexpensive with a very friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with all the usual amenities, As noted there is not an elevator; it would have been nice if there was one but it really was not a problem. The breakfast was fine with eggs, yogurts, fruit, toasts, dry oatmeal. One thing I would recommend for many of the hotels is to have more sugar free items for breakfast, such as original oatmeal and plain yogurts.

I should mention for us wi fi dependents that although the wi fi was listed as very easy it was not. I never could get in on my lap top so used my husbands instead. I am sure that the staff would have been helpful if I had asked but late at night I did not want to bother. The TV was also tricky and we mentioned that when we left in the morning and the clerk thanked us for letting him know. I felt that it would be adjusted that day.

I stay in hotels every few weeks for business. This is a very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. I usually stay in a Holiday Inn Express or comparable but decided to try a Best Western for a change since there are only a few choices in Waynesboro. I was pleasantly surprised with the room, amenities and the staff. I will stay here again the next time I am in Waynesboro.

We never saw when reading online about this hotel that there was no elevator. We requested a non-smoking hotel; we were assured that it was, however, as soon as we arrived we smelled smoke. There must have been guests smoking as the bathroom had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. There was one person working everything there; they are definitely understaffed. The breakfast area was attractive, clean, and the food was definitely OK. We would not stay there again, however, as it was very inconvenient to carry all our belongings upstairs.

Enjoyed my stay here but would advise all that they do not have a elevator. Not a problem for me but may be for others. very friendly staff. Will be back for sure if in this area again during my travels.
