An okay stay...

I wish we'd have been told that several weddings were hosted here on booking, the whole hotel is taken over including car park and bars and as a paying guest I don't feel you get the best of their services- something to bear in mind.
Rooms were cleaned but nothing replaced (showergel, towels etc).
Check in lady on Friday 11th was awful, flustered and blunt.
Saturday 12th noisy wedding guests were arguing outside and staff were speeding through the 5mph car park.
Bathroom in the room is dated, shower curtains and a slow shower.
Swimming pool is nice and was quiet whilst we were there.
Location wise it's excellent but expensive for what you get overall.

We had a wonderful time. The room was a little shabby but the friendly staff more than made up for it. Everyone we saw and spoke to went out their way to be friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was so warm and we were the only ones in there both times we used it. There were lots of spare towels and blankets. The room had a fan. The bed was amazing. We would love to come back

Fantastic welcoming atmosphere

We stayed with our 2 year old daughter. We were apprehensive about staying and eating in such a lovely hotel with a toddler however this was totally unfounded. Right from the welcome at reception we were made to feel reassured. All the staff made a huge effort. The highlight was taking our daughter to her first restaurant experience. The staff encouraged her to order her own food, gave us a large table so she could play with her small toy, which meant as adults we enjoyed the meal too. The food was outstanding! The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We all had a fantastic nights sleep. I couldn't recommend this hotel more!

We had a lovely one night stay here when visiting Paulton's Park (about 10 minutes away).
Our family room was conveniently on the ground floor with bunk beds and a huge bed for us, very comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with plenty of choice.
We swam in the pool which was a good temperature and nice and quiet. Great location with a few minutes walk into Lyndhurst.
Staff were very friendly and helpful even helping to return something we left behind.
Highly recommended!

Leisurely stay in the New Forest

Room was clean but the bed was tiny for a double. We never ate there as so many other places around but the menu did look nice. Swimming pool was much bigger than in the pictures and a real treat. My only quibble was breakfast was naturally or mistakenly added to our bill and we never had it once so please check your bill carefully. A genuinely nice place to stay with easy access to all amenities and surrounding areas in the New Forest.
