Used to stay at this hotel everytime I visit family and friends in the Greenwood surrounding area. I have to say everytime visit it seems like the hotel is deteriorating more with stay. My last stay wasn't a pleasant one, bathroom had hair on the floor and the carpet look like it wasn't vacuum. The hotel attendees were very polite and helpful though.

Family Reunion

This Hotel was very unprofessional. We picked this hotel for a family reunion so that means this was pre planned. When the family arrived at 2:30 NO rooms were available when rooms became available there was only one staff member available to help with such a large group. The most disappointing part about this was the manager was available in the back room doing nothing but refuse to help the staff member with getting our family checked- in. When I arrived and was checked in there was no mention of my Platinum status at the hotel or the option of a gift. I was told by the employee she does not see that and she gave me some water and sent me on my way. When I got to my room which was a smoking room (I never asked for) the smell was horrendous. I understand a smoking room will have a smell but this smelled like 100 people literally just left our room right after smoking. The smell is still in my clothes and luggage. The customer service needs to be better. Corporate needs to pay a visit to this hotel.

Outstanding-overall. All employees encountered were professional and friendly. They all. seemed to enjoy working and pleasing the guests. I would strongly recommend this hotel to friends and others for an outstanding facility in Greenwood with the amenities of many 5 star hotels.

Was in town for my boyfriend's family reunion and decided last minute to book a room where a few of his relatives were staying. We checked in late Friday night/early Saturday morning and walked into a very warm room. I'm assuming there's a reason to have the air off in the room but it took some time for the room to be somewhat cool. While we were trying to settle in I noticed a very big cockroach climbing on the wall! After trying to kill it, we called the front desk and instead of offering us another at first Patel said he will come up to look at it. WTH??? We couldn't understand why he needed to look at it because why would we lie about a cockroach being in the room??? He came up, I told him where it ran to and he didn't look and just offered us another room. It was probably after one in the morning at this time and we just wanted to go to bed so we went to the other room, turned on the air to cool the room and checked for any other bugs and went to bed. Other than dealing with bugs and hot rooms we also had to deal with the attitude of the staff. It really seemed like most of them didn't want to be there. One of the staff members over the breakfast rolled her eyes and walked away when he asked for a waffle. Housekeeping came to our door and we weren't ready to leave for the day I asked the housekeeper when's the latest she can come back she told me something along the lines of she didn't know and when she gets off she's going home. Then Sharon at the front desk gave a few ppl in our party an attitude as well. I asked for towels for our room, she told me housekeeping noted they gave us towels which wasn't true. She then told me I would have to wait until Housekeeping came in for the day in order for us to get towels. When we came back from breakfast she gave us towels, but we realized it was one bath towel and some face towels and hand towels. So I guess two adults were supposed to share one bath towel? Instead of making a big deal out of it we made due with what we had. Overall it was a disappointing experience and we won't return again.

The stay was nice. Some, not all of the staff could have been a little more friendlier. The hotel was nice and clean on the inside. the exterior could use a little updating. Overall it was a nice stay. I would stay again.
