2 night stay on business. Nice welcome on arrival. Large room on ground floor overlooking garden. Clean and bright and everything worked. Pool/sauna/steam room all excellent. Breakfast was also good - hot food freshly prepared. Poached eggs were perfect. Evening meal was rather bland but acceptable. Fantastic value for money - the quality of the hotel far out weighs the price paid. I would have no hesitation in staying again. Recommended

Good Hotel

Arrived with 2 kids and associated luggage. Given wrong room number. Traipsed for about 10 minutes to and from the wrong room, just to have to go back in the same direction.

Good facilities. Nice bar, posh restaurant and great swimming pool.

However, it appears "members" of the health club are less than welcoming when you get into their swimming pool with well-behaved kids who are better swimmers than they are. I do sympathise, but when we're clearly trying to keep out of the way the tuts-and-moans aren't necessary, hence the reason I felt the need to mention it.

Good parking, good breakfast and great location if you need to be in this area. Bar food prices are high, but appreciate this is typical for hotels, so nothing out of the ordinary.

Definitely recommended and we'll certainly be staying again and again.

great weekend stay, the facilities, pool, sauna etc. are excellent and the food in the restaurant is superb (and not expensive) staff are brilliant and attentive, if anything is wrong tell them and its sorted only 15 minutes walk from the station and town well worth a visit

Fabulous fantastic fresh friendly. Staff great. Very professional. Food excellent. Mouth watering. Room massive clean fresh and inviting. Shame only stayed one night as wanted to try out the pool. Keep doing what you're doing.

Excellant Value Hotel

We had trouble booking online with this hotel so rang them direct and found a great 2 night deal for a superior room with breakfast. Would have ideally liked the deal for three nights but they were unable to do this at the same nightly price. Room was fantastic and if I were to be critical, started to look a very tiny bit dated but very comfortable, bed and bathroom lovely. Stayed in the bar for dinner - would have liked to sit outside but full of smokers as this is the only smoking area next to bar. Pool was lovely with sauna and steam room. Didn't use gym but looked functional. Staff lovely. Breakfast was lovely - buffet style but you could order extras freshly cooked - eggs any way, omelettes, pancakes, waffles etc. Very good value as found price comparable to Premier Inn but standard a lot better.
