Stayed only one night but can confidently state that service was great so too were the facilities. The language barrier was not a problem since most of staff understood english.Not a low budget hotel since rooms and meals are quoted in Euros. An average meal costs 30E.

Could be great with some maintenance

We stayed here overnight as part of the tour. The lift was out of action and our small veranda had corroded rails. The pool was good and pleasant to use. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice. Plenty of good eating places near by. Several points of interest are within walking distance.

A good centrally located hotel

If you're staying in Cayenne there's no better located hotel in the city. A good base fairly basic but all the essentials especially with the lovely swimming pool which is a must to cool down and relax by.
Staff very friendly and helpful

You get what you pay for

The hotel is rated 3 stars and that's what you get. The room I was in had a great shelf for putting stuff on, but could not be described as luxurious. The shower had hot water, but the spray could have been better. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good to begin with, but get there early as nothing seems to be replenished. No other meals seem to be served at the hotel. Swimming pool was adequate as long as only a few people are in it at one time. Conveniently located.

Loved the place. The hotel was generally good. Devil's Island was great and the food was very good. The only hotel problem was the failure of a wake up call and the failure of the restaurant to open for breakfast a little earlier as they said would happen.
