Great Value and Location

We booked this hotel because of its location - just diagonally across the street from the train station. Thankfully, we got a room on the third floor facing the beautiful mountains.

This hotel has a family B&B run look and feel from the hotel entrance to the moment you walk into your room. The decor is quite odd and eclectic ( huge bronze sculptures of children scattered throughout with a large dragon fly mounted in the wall near our third floor elevator.

Our room was extremely clean albeit small. Well built modern tan wood custom furniture in the corner maximizes the space well. The tiny bathroom is just like a cruise ship. And the small one person circular shower, once again, maximized the space well. Yet everything was extremely clean.

No central air conditioning, but we opened the balcony door and window to let the cool mountain air into the room at night. I rigged the white screen curtain to create a makeshift mosquito net. Very few bugs anyway.

Our small balcony was just enough to fit both of us as we gazed at the full moon above the glacier topped mountain in the distance.

The front desk person was efficient and welcoming. And we received a free local transport pass. However, if you are staying in Switzerland for several days, and planning to take trains, I highly recommend that you purchase a Swiss pass. It allows all inclusive trains, any public transportation, shuttle boats / yachts, cable cars, and discount off trains above Wengen / Grindelwald.

The breakfast buffet was above average. Most impressive was their flexibility with the start and end times. We arrived one day 5 min before the official breakfast time ended, and yet the staff allowed us ( and others ) to eat way past that deadline without rushing or encouraging everyone to leave. Very high end service.

The hotel is located very close to Interlaken West train station and main bus station. Hotel front desk staff members are very helpful especially explaining the tourist locations.
Rooms are very neat and tidy and bathrooms are clean.
Breakfast was kind of repetition without much option. We stayed two nights at this hotel and enjoyed staying there. Good hotel for family.

Disappointed big time ...

V have come for our honeymoon trip to swiss.. nd came to Interlaken as a part of it. This hotel was highly rated by many ppl in TripAdvisor, so had high hopes on it .. but was utterly disappointed on reaching here..
CONS:
1. Staff r never seen in the reception except few times ( no bell boys)
2. Room is extremely congested for 2 persons
3. Bathrooms r very small with min amenities
4. Pillows r bad
5. This hotel is highly priced
6. Breakfast is bad nd repeated daily with very less options to choose from

PROS:
1. Excellent location , very near by to the Interlaken west station nd centrally located
2. Receptionist Thomas was helpful in guiding us through the town
3. Gud WiFi

Just 2min walk from Interlaken west railway and bus station , staff was good and helpful but room was too small may be 150 sq ft only , may be old property , carpets was old and need replacement. it claim that its 3 star property but over all ambience is not so great. continental break fast was really good.

The hotel is exactly opposite the Interlaken West station and has supermarkets and eating joints in the vicinity. The hotel staff is very helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Had a pleasant stay. Good value for money.
