Location
danp5on 27/02/2017 01:38It was about a 5-7 min. walk from the train.
Easy walk to the rest of Bern.
Check in/ out was smooth from very friendly staff members.
We were on the 4th floor farthest from the elevator and it was a nice large quiet room.
Breakfast was good and you can get a special coffee if you request it.
Friendly staff, good breakfast and spacious rooms
Romy Bon 09/12/2016 18:12I stayed with a couple of colleagues in this hotel during a 3 day business trip. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and the town Bern. The hotel provided a nice breakfast and a spacious room. A positive surprise was a free ticker for the public transportation during the stay. The staff was very friendly and gave good advice on where to eat in the area. We also got to leave our luggage in a locked room on the last day of our stay.
Nice Hotel in Great Location

The Best Western Hotel Bristol was well located, being in the center of the city just off the Bundesplatz, close to the historic sights, shopping and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. The room, while a little dated, was spacious and well furnished. The breakfast buffet was nice, and cards for transportation of the trams and buses were included. Our room was in the front and was a little noisy on a Friday night with much going on in the city. We were happy with our choice.
Very pleasant stay in the hearth of Bern
Stefano Con 01/11/2016 08:00This charming hotel, which sits in the middle of the city, is becoming my home away from home. The staff is nice and very helpful, rooms are clean and well set up, breakfast is good, prices are correct. And, also important to me, everything is within walking distance.
Very convenient and staffs are welcoming
tanchinhuion 24/10/2016 20:50We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. It is conveniently located close to the station, and the staffs and friendly and helpful. If you choose the right exit from the station, it is almost considered sheltered from station to hotel.
It is on a relatively quiet side of town, seemed to have a few office blocks opposite. The rooms are decent and of good size. Breakfast is simple. We choose this for the location, it is good as a base for nearby areas like Brienze and Interlaken, and also for touring Bern itself.
Be warned: Sunday is a "dead town" except for shops in the station.
Overall, it is a comfortable stay throughout. No big positive surprises but an above average stay (huge plus for location if you have push luggage) is value for money in itself for this hotel in expensive Switzerland.
