Room could have benefited from air con, but at least the windows opened.

An excellent base for a holiday

All the rooms in the Prado are similar. The bathrooms are excellent. The location is good with access to the town centre, casino and beach. Prices are on a par with similar hotels in Ostend. Secure parking is also available nearby at a discounted price. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist you.

Pleasant hotel

Stayed just one night, to attend an event at the Kursaal (3 minutes on foot). The essentials were well taken care of! As others have remarked, staff are really friendly. The bed slept very well. The room was clean. Continental breakfast had ample choices. However, not many sockets in the room for recharging equipment. And there were a couple of real negatives: water flowing through pipes of the central heating system made quite disturbing noise even though my radiator was off in the late evening; also, the shower hanging on the "wrong" side of the bath makes for an almost inevitable large water spill onto the floor right at the toilet. However, I felt well enough at the hotel that I do not wish to downrate overall from "very good" to "average"; in-between, at 3.5 marks, would have been appropriate.

Long weekend break

Excellent service. Reception manned 24 hours a day. Always willing to help. We were so impressed. All staff bent over backwards to accommodate any requests. Breakfast was excellent. Parking available nearby for an extra cost, but this is worth paying for as street parking very hard to find. This needs to be booked when you book the Hotel. This is a family run Hotel, with a personal touch all the way. We loved it. Looking forward to going back again. Tony and Mandy

A Little Gem

I stayed one night at the Prada and was quite impressed. The reception was very welcoming and the room was a good size, good quality furniture, a large bed and the advantage of an entry foyer so that you can minimise noise from the hallway. The room was carpeted and clean. Bathroom was a good size and very clean.
A shortage of electrical plugs was the only real let down as I had to relocate the tea making facilities to the bathroom to access a power point, also the fridge was not working and disconnected from the electricity which I would have raised if I had been staying for more than one night.
A good view over the Park opposite the Hotel from the windows and a guest information book which mentioned that the Hotel did not provide a restaurant except for breakfast but guests were welcome to bring food into the Hotel and some fast food contacts were also provided.
Breakfast was a good experience, being offered a glass of Champagne was a classic touch and you were made very welcome, tables were quickly cleared and there was plenty of variety available from hot to smoked salmon!.
The room was quite expensive but the service totally met with expectations of the cost of staying, very professional staff.
