My family was quite pleased, with our accommodations. at your hotel. There was also ample parking, and the breakfast more that satisfied our collective appetites. The people working at the desk, helped us with all our concerns.

The location was not near the airport and in more of an industrial area. But for a one night spray, everything was adequate. Good staff, clean room. The breakfast was a bit substandard, but. Reasonable selection.

In Remodel Phase

The hotel exterior looks like a hospital or commercial building. Homeless people rummage through the trashcans in broad daylight at the entrance of the lobby.

Reception staff was unfriendly.

This hotel is still under a major remodel. There is construction materials in public rooms, the carpets are worn and dirty.

The room we were in was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. Noisy air conditioner unit with a thermostat that ran the air conditioner on and off all night long making it difficult to sleep.

The rooms don't have any views, just the parking lot or another hotel.

Did not eat breakfast.

Hard to find the newspapers in the morning. They were hidden in the construction material area.

Great if you are looking for a no-thrills place to stay near the race track and I-5 and don't mind the homeless people milling around.

Would rate this an average hotel, relatively clean, though the carpets were a little dingy. Beds and pilllows were rather hard and traffic to and from the downtown area if Portland was crazy! Trip to the airport however was smooth sailing and access was easy. Breakfast was great. Would recommend for those needing a decent hotel before or after a flight. Not necessairly for families looking for easy access to Portland attractions.

Very comfortable hotel

Not being familiar with Portland I attempted to get a hotel near the Moda Center for ease in traveling to and from the venue for a concert. We have a few requirements such as an in room refrigerator and a pet acceptable hotel. The distance looked ok and the room had the necessary necessities.
The property exterior was well maintained, there was adequate and convenient parking and the lobby was clean and well designed. The room, beds, bathroom and interior were clean,comfortable and welcoming. The front desk staff was friendly, patient ( with no feeling of being rushed even though there were people in line waiting to register) and very helpful.
The only issue that bothered me was the draconian agreement required to be executed upon registering which indicated $500 fines for certain "offenses. I can understand issues must be addressed due to others who have taken advantage of the hospitality of the hotel, but it still was shocking. One example was the hotel retained the right to call animal control and have a pet confiscated if left unintended in the room. The other issue that bothered me was the crowded feeling of a "free for all" in the breakfast room.
However, these issues being what they may I would stay at this Best Western again and would feel comfortable recommending it.
