Lovely, Friendly Hotel

Stayed at the Lovat for 2 nights on 7/8th August and had the most lovely time. The staff were all very friendly and approachable and nothing we requested was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the portion sizes extremely generous. The only very slight drawback was the bed which was just a bit too soft for my liking but not a major problem as still had a decent nights sleep. Hotel is very central and within walking distance of Perth Shopping Centre. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

Comfortable enough bed and polite staff are the positives of our staff. Hotel is a bit grubby and dated. In the gents by the bar, cracked and dirty tiles, door would not lock. Most of paintwork chipped. Dinner was busy and took a while but was very tasty. Room was outdated, old furniture, curtains and bathroom. Don't think was worth the price charged

We had afternoon tea here today and it was delicious. Wonderful service from Lizzie and was lovely to meet Karen (eventually putting a face to ur name)!! Thank you so much for today and look forward to seeing you on Sunday for my mum's birthday lunch 😁x

Family reunion table of about 20 people food was superb as was the service Billy who was in charge of his very competent staff made sure everything was tip top thank you all for a wonderful evening will defo be back

Disappointing

After seeing some good reviews, felt hopeful about this hotel. However room was grubby, bed was not comfortable and there was a bad smell in bathroom. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Very unlikely to return.
