Infestation of roaches

After driving for 24 hours we found this place .....half a sleep room looked dirty ,walk in our bathroom urine in toilet and around rim ....wakeup at 2am and find roaches all over by our refrigerator and table next to it where I had my clothes and hygiene products. .....put the roaches that I could in a cup took them to the front desk and she said I should have reported sooner.............Really you are telling me that I sleep for a few hours to wake up to go to bathroom and the best you got was I could have switched rooms , ummm no if roaches are in one they are in all of the room they follow pipe lines stupid .....she could have credit part of my money back but instead said it was my fault .
WORST PLACE I'VE EVER STAYED ......DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE HOME ROACH PETS ....NOW I'M SPENDING MORE MONEY TO WASH EVERYTHING TWICE IN MY LUGGAGE TO BE SURE I DON'T TAKE THEM HOME IN MY THINGS .....ALL HYGIENE PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN TOSSED IN THE GARBAGE. .... Ugh......this has me furious

We finally stopped here after trying to find a hotel for 5 hours. It was the only one available in the area & it was this or park at a rest stop at 1am. We were tired & desperate or never in a million years would I have ever stayed at this place. It smelled moldy, the toilet had stains, there was dirt on the bathroom floor, the shower was stained, even the lamp shades were stained like there had been a leak at some point. I was scared to walk on the carpet in my bare feet. I barely slept b/c I was afraid something was going to come crawling out. It didn't look any better in the light of day & none of us would touch the shower. We got dressed & got out of there as soon as we could. It was way overpriced for this level of hotel, but they knew they could get by charging a high price because there was nothing else left in a 300-mile radius.

Room was horrible. There were bugs, dead and alive. We informed the desk of this but they didn't seem to concerned. Took the AC forever to come on and cool the room off, however the manager did allow us to use a laundry room fan while we waited on the AC to cool off. We had reservations so you would think they would of already had the room cool. The fridge was rusty and microwave dirty. The bathroom was filth. The bathroom door was coming apart & wouldn't open all the way bc it hit the toilet. When I brushed my teeth, the water in the sink tasted horrible. When we tried locking the dead bolt, it came out of the wall. I have stayed at cheaper hotels that were alot nicer! The house keeping lady was pushing a shopping cart full of sheets but saw no cleaning supplies. When calling to make reservations we specifically asked was the hotel clean and they assured us it was. They lied! They gave us towels for the pool, which we did not go to once seeing how dirty the room was, but the pool towels were the size of hand towels.

Magnolia Inn Biloxi, Ms Last Minute Holiday Get a Way

We booked this trip on July 3rd for July 3 rd & 4th ALL properties within the Biloxi area were booked with exception of a $600.resort. The Magnolia Inn had 3 rooms left for $ 160 including tax per night. This was a nice clean seemed to be like a family owned hotel . The location was nice and quiet and about a 15 minute drive to Boomtown and 25 minute drive to Biloxi Beach. The rooms were not up dated but clean for the time we spent in them. The staff was nice as well and the pool was clean.

Need upgrading and through cleaning

I can only give my experience. I stayed one night 4/24/2015, after checking in I pulled the covers back and found the sheets were full of hair and the pillow case was full of make up. I was placed in another room, which was decent as far as the beds. The face bowl looked as if someone threw up in it and it was just rinsed out and what was left stuck to the face bowl. Once the AC kicked off, you could smell the carpet needed cleaning. the furniture is old and peeling. the plus is the fridge and microwave. I wouldn't stay there again for the money I spent. I was told they had a new housekeeper that was going to be dealt with.
