Book through booking.com but contacted to ensure all was still good after cyclone earlier this year. Spoke with Peter the manager and couldn't of been happier with his service. He was easy to speak with and advised me to contact him directly next time for an even better deal. We were an original party of 6 attending a wedding but ended up a party of 2 Peter went out of his way to adjust our booking so we weren't liable for the extra cost, something he didn't have to do but was greatly appreciated. The one bedroom apartment was roomy and could sleep up to 4 with soda lounges in the main area. Fully self contained unit very clean and well maintained, we were in a poolside room with a balcony overlooking the pool and garden all well cared for. There is plenty of parking and close to Airlie main strip and marina. There is an IGA right opposite and a local pub with lovely walking track all around. We had a few visitors drop in to say hi the friendly cockatoos that we took great pleasure in hand feeding. At one stage we had 9 sitting on our balcony, I would highly recommend this establishment for a clean and affordable option when visiting Airlie Beach.

I was expecting more from Mango House, mainly because it's part of an international chain. The overall infra structure was good but the cleanliness could be much better, on top of that, the room needs to be renovated, mainly the toilet area, which is already showing signs of usage. The hotel is a little bit far from the city centre, you will spend around 20-25 minutes walking or you can catch a bus right in front of the hotel, which will shorten the travel time to around 5 minutes. I’m attaching few photos I took related to the issues I’ve described.

This place bed ,kitchen and bathroom was ok but the walls and doors were very dusty to be fair all amenities were clean would suite family more than couples
It's a bit noisy being close by the road but good under cover parking

Lovely units, which recommend the poolside units with great balcony where you can eat/drink while cockatoos visit. Good size pool, with contains shallow sections for little kids. Nice sun loungers and plenty of places to move to for the sun. Comfy beds, hot showers and nicely equipped kitchen. Across the road is supermarket, coffee place and hotel with good steak meals that get 10% discount on if show room key. Wifi worked well and friendly assistance from reception. Great value and highly recommended.
