Great Rooms but need upkeep

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights with family during August 2017. I had booked two rooms and since the hotel was overbooked, we got upgraded to suites. The suites were really nice, clean, spacious and comfortable.

Experience –
1. Once settled down, we realized that the AC is not cooling enough. The guys came, cleaned the filter and it was sorted.
2. Found no fridge in the room, called again and got a fridge delivered. After half a day we realized that the fridge isn’t cooling and had it replaced. But the second one wasn’t any better either and decided to let it be.
3. Washroom was big and very nicely designed. However, showerhead, hand-shower in the tub required cleaning
4. Breakfast (which was included in the package) was below average. The food though (that you order from the menu and pay for) was great.
5. The hotel is adjacent to a petrol pump. It was right below the window from our suites. Not sure how safe it was. Had I known it earlier, I may have not chosen this hotel at all.

Overall, the hotel looked as if it was designed for comfortable stay but somehow deteriorated over time and is in need for some serious looking after. This was when we had two suites, I can not even imagine how the normal rooms were.

Very very small room,towels were not clean bed is not comfartable.Staff average.I do not recommend this hotel infact i belive Best western group does not belives in hospitality and service they onlyu want to make money.Only their name is big.I do not recommend this group to anyone.

I was traveling to Chandigarh for a family trip and considering the name Best western holds, I went ahead and booked triple occupancy room.. To my surprise, they provided twin sharing room, how 3 adults along with a kid are suppose to share single person beds..

To top that, while checking out of the hotel I was asked to wait for room checking.. Suddenly the guy at reception asked me "2 glasses are missing from room" without even checking from the cleaning staff if they have taken it out as used one's for cleaning..

Come-on guys, I won't spend 4000 for a room and another 1000 bucks on room service for 2 glasses.. That was really pathetic.. Finally, it was cleaning folks who took the glasses for cleaning n stuff..

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone going forward, this kinda behavior assasinates Best Western's name and reputation

This hotel is located at Zirakpur Ambala Highway,It is just opposite to Metro Cash and carry,It has lot of good shopping malls and restaurants around it,
The rooms are decent in size with road view,the passage are little darker though.
What I liked most is breakfast and dinner buffet,they had good spread with taste and quality, there is scope of improvement in breakfast buffet.
The only negative about this hotel is that it is behind a petrol pump on Highway,else good property.

The hotel maintenance is very good and the rooms are of apt size. The staff is always decent and courteous. Location wise it is on the highway. Though the approach is through a ptrol pump, it is not inconvenient.
