Charming beachside villas

Loved this place! It's so peaceful with the villas spaced apart to give plenty of privacy. The villa had a lovely casual atmosphere and plenty of space to laze around when we weren't chilling on the beach. What I loved most was having breakfast at Bibi's Cafe right on the edge of the beach. What a fantastic way to start the day! I'd go again and definitely recommend it.

Great location right on the beach. Food from the restaurant (Bibi's Cafe) was fresh and delicious.They even catered for my gluten-free friend! The staff were wonderfully helpful and pleasant.
Loved watching the beach activity and eating meals on the sand. Snorkeling right in front of the villas offered a myriad of fish to see.
Super relaxing. There was access to the shower directly from outside so no need to bring sand into your villa. Air conditioned and ceiling fan above the bed. Loved it!

Dropped into the restaurant for a few drinks and to have lunch, service was so slow that we nearly moved on but thought it could only get better, it didn't . Owners were sitting in restaurant at the time and didn't give a hoot about the goings on. Staff smoking while serving etc etc . Was thinking of booking two villas for a few nights but would not risk it after the service we didn't receive. Beer was not drinkable as it was only slightly cold, lots of other places on the beach to spend your holiday money...... Never again.

Beautiful spacious villa

First it was hard to find , like a little gem , it is situated just outside the busy bars and restaurant of the city but within easy reach to all the lovely places .
The villa is superb and soooo huge , seriously so much potential in this place .
Our room has a communion terraced where I watched the sunset and I practiced my yoga during the sunrise . Beautifully quiet surrounding where you can hear the waves and the seagulls . Breakfast average and room are cozy and comfortable . Staff are friendly and helpful .
I would love to come here and run a yoga retreat , so much space around the villa and there is a private beach nearby tucked away .
The pictures will speak for itself .
The villa was not cheap to stay , 2 nights nearly £190 , but it is worth it .

Average Villa

I stayed in the east at Villa Nautilas for 5 days and 4 nights. The villa has an excellent view and the beachfront space is much bigger than other villas. There is a massive couch area and a bed which is on a high platform. The shower area is 1 floor down, and is sometimes visited by crickets and small toads. Yes, lizards are frequent visitors inside the villa too. The air con is cold and functioning very well. 

Even though I bought the beach front package, the villa is not directly in front of the beach. It is about 40m back, and the view of the beach is not that great due to the palm and pine trees. In my opinion, If you want clear beach view, you should google 'Seri Resort Gili Meno', 'Mallias Bungalows and Restaurant', 'MAHAMAYA Boutique Resort' or 'Sunset House'. The latter has a magnificent view of beach! 

My stay in the villa wasn't that great. First, 4 light bulbs were spoilt; 2 bulbs outside of the villa and 2 bulbs inside the villa. The safe was also spoilt. As was the main door lock. When asked if we can switch villas, the person said there is a special way of locking the door. From my experience, that lock is going to be spoilt very soon because the catch was faulty. I had to spend 1-2 minutes opening the door each time. Please do not select Villa 1. Those are just the technical parts. However, chocolate milk shake and pizza were good, no complaints. Their cafe is called Bibi's cafe. Do not expect their pancake to be American style. It is most similar to the kind of pancake you might find in Thailand.
