Ok place but mushy smell everywhere

So let's start .

Pros: decent breakfast (better than hotels where I paid double the price)
All necessities in the room
AC works well and is not loud
Good location, near Heb and a not to far away Walmart
Small but efficient gym
Very small but clean pool

Con:
Mushy smell everywhere from the lobby, elevator and room
Very Outdated carpets
Again very very mushy smell... that truly put me off!!

Considering the price I would come back and bring my own air freshener:-)

Very happy with our stay at Bay month Inn & Suites Cuero. Great location and access to Walmart , HEB, gas station and site for Family Reunion.

Hallways smelled very musty. Sofa in suite horrible. Needs to be replaced. Leather crumbling & peeling. Terrible to sit on, but not too bad sleeper.

rates were reasonable, the first room we were put in AC did not work correctly left the room feeling very humid and apparently they knew about it because they had an extra fan in the room pointed at the AC unit. Parking lot has large craters in it glad we didn't hit them when we arrive at night time. The rooms were large, bath room was decent, had some kind of mold on the top of ceiling. They did switch our rooms the next night to a working AC room. Breakfast was okay, manager argued with my husband about bringing more biscuits out when he had waited for 40 mins before the breakfast was over they did not have anything out at the time simply asked if she could make more biscuits to go with the gravy. Manager came over to dispute it with him, was very short and made every excuse to why the couldn't bring biscuits out.... because of that and her attitude will not be staying here again. I can deal with everything else, but do not develop an attitude and argue with your guests over biscuits. Also they woke us up 2 times the first morning we stayed there, for room cleaning at 9am and maintenance at 8am.
