An ideal base for exploring Falmouth

Penmere Manor is a friendly hotel with plenty of convenient parking, which is very important when travellin g with my 92 year old friend. It is also a short taxi ride into Falmouth whjch saved a lot of hassle. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The reception, restaurant and bar staff were extremely helpful and accommdating. Dave the barman even remembered what we drank each evening, without being intrusive. We definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel

Stayed for two nights, room compact but clean. Shower was not working in bathroom but if it had not been reported previously they would not know about it and bath mat was dirty (actual dirt, not just washed and a stain which could not be removed). These little issues were dealt with immediately. All of the fitness centre needs a refurb and some tlc. We ate in the bar one night, although the fish was advertised as catch of the day, it had very thick batter and looked and tasted as though it might've come out of the freezer? Breakfast, good choice but average taste. All the staff we met were very friendly, lovely gardens. Taxi into Falmouth centre cost £5.

For us, simply perfect

Friendly staff and a hotel with good service. We where three and got a gigantic room, with class, that suited our small family as a vacation hub for 4 days.
Good breakfast and bar. Restaurant menu looked tempting but never tried it though since we liked Falmouth centre in the evening. It is about 6 to 7 £ one way with taxi but only 20 min by foot
spa and pool area very nice - but need a upgrade program immediately to fit the other standard.

We liked the hotel very much and were positively surprised with the establishment. Nice and swift team.
Stay here!

Excellent hotel!

I stayed at Penmere with my mum for four nights in July, and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional. The room, food and service were all excellent and of a high standard. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the town, and the environment feels tranquil. The pool is great, knowing you can use it in all weathers is a bonus. Everyone at Penmere was so friendly, we would recommend it to everyone!

Big room

... as a single traveller I enjoyed a family room. Large double bed and 2 x bunk beds. Tastefully decorated with a comfy sofa to watch the box. Fridge was a tad noisy so turned it off. Power shower, most powerful shower I've ever had, I almost ended up down the plug hole. Breakie was good albeit no menus. Its a 20-25 minute walk into Falmouth or £6-7 taxi. Never used the pool or gym, no time. Free towels available for the pool. Would stay here again.
