Not for Internet Customers
Willie Don 10/10/2016 18:01The hotel staff was very friendly. The only problem that I had was with the internet. So if you need internet service, I would not recommend this hotel. If internet is no concern, I would recommend this hotel. I rate it average because of the internet; it would be a very good rating if it was working.

Willie Don 30/05/2016 19:23I have stayed at this location several times before. This was the most unpleasant experience that I have had. I will not go into details, but I will say that the GM got with me promptly about the concerns that I had which spoke volume to me. I would suggest to any future guests who may have any concerns to inform the front desk to have the GM to call you and she will make it right. She understands the importance of hospitality. I would recommend this location.
Poor quality hotel
Beth Fon 13/04/2016 14:15We stayed there for a family wedding. I called the hotel itself about 2 months before the wedding to book directly. When I got there Friday night, She could not locate my reservation. When I gave my confirmation number, she located it but wrong address. She then announced my credit card number in the lobby.
Our room had an odor. Carpet was stained. Bed was comfortable
Our friends checked out immediately. It looked like sofa was covered with blood. Gross!!!
Need a Hotel Management System
mikemrasekon 18/03/2016 19:40The individual staff members were terrific, but the hotel property and systems were antiquated. The hotel required a 3 day advance cancellation without a full room charge penalty being incurred. Flooding in LA was a concern, but we were able to make it to hotel by 9pm. We had not cancelled our stay, but our reservation appeared to have been gone or cancelled. Hotel staff required us to provide credit card again, but equipment wasn't working, and so we waited well over 20 minutes while staff tried to validate credit card again. They had to leave front desk and take my card to a back room repeatedly. Hotel management had to be contacted by phone to allow us to stay and use AAA card for discount even though my prior reservation had confirmed. I did present my printed Best Western confirmation page with confirm# and AAA rate and credit card guarantee. Cleaning and other staff were very friendly, but hall carpet smelled of mildew. Front desk staff was very friendly, but again at checkout I could see their systems were all out of date and not working properly. They couldn't print a simple final bill for me. First I had to wait as the only person at front desk was doing breakfast cleanup, then had to answer incoming front desk calls, then could finally help me. She was very nice and tried to accommodate, but again had to disappear to back room for a long time. When I went down hall to ask about, she didn't know if or how long it would take to print my bill/receipt. I decided to leave. This hotel seemed to be operating like a hotel would have 25 years ago, but without the manual systems in place back then. Completely paralyzed by normal hotel technology, or lack of it. They don't belong in Best Western family unless they can modernize. Again, the staff was trying very hard, but clearly not the issue.
Plantation Tour
LouMacnabbon 22/02/2016 20:30Stopped here for the night after visiting Oak Alley Plantation. The hotel was good for the price $85. Our room was clean and the staff were nice. It looked like they were in the middle of doing some renovations but were generally clean throughout. If I get back to the area I would stay here again.
