Awesome location!
megnickyon 17/08/2017 16:55We stayed here while in the area for Cooperstown Dream Park. It is a great location to the field and a short drive to downtown Cooperstown. The breakfast was good too! We liked the rooms in the main building better that the suites building.
Good for price
L161ZAmatthewdon 17/08/2017 12:37It is exactly as advertised. No frills but affordable. Kids liked the pool and it was a perfect stopping point on our way to Niagra. Only issues we had were mold in the bathroom, which they cleaned right away but bathroom was less than desired. Breakfast was perfect and had a variety of things.
Best Western is Best "Ever"
D6549IBcathylon 15/08/2017 20:24The hotel, staff, food, amenities were all excellent. I would recommend Best Western to anyone traveling. It is the best hotel I have ever had the opportunity to visit. After visit Best Western in NY we continued on a trip to Niagara Falls Canada & were greatly disappointed at the hotel. There were no amenities at all. Best Western is a tough act to follow!
Stay in Cooperstown
roberthL2006JKon 15/08/2017 17:16The hotel is adequate. It's close to the Dreams Park, downtown Cooperstown, and restaurants. The beds were not comfortable. However, the hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We were there for the baseball tournament, so the price of $230 plus taxes was not cheap, but there isn't much of value that is less than that.
Tried and disappointed
Michael Son 15/08/2017 02:50Thought we'd give the Best Western a try, here in Cooperstown. Only in town for one night. We were greeted by a friendly staff and were able to get into our room, even though we arrived early. The room was nothing special. King bed, desk, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There were some signs of "quick cleaning". Dust in corners, especially in the bathroom. The tiled floor looked like it needed a good hands and knees scrubbing. We slept ok, though were awaken early by youth baseball teams running down the hall.
This included a free breakfast. Usual cereals, some microwaved omelets and bacon. I can't eat wheat or anything with gluten in it, so I stuck with the omelets. They had a waffle maker and that was backed up with kids and they blocked where the coffee was, so that was a challenge.
There was a shuttle parking lot, down the road towards the village. It was handy and on time.
Hope to go back again, perhaps staying at a different hotel.
