Class Reunion Trip
Jaime Mon 03/08/2017 17:40From the moment you walk into the hotel till the moment you leave, you are greeted with a very clean property, a friendly & helpful staff. The rooms were nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only issues were some of the other guests. I found them rude and intruding however the staff handled each and everyone of them like a pro. From the front desk, to the maid service to the ladies and gentlemen who helped during breakfast, they were all so amazing. These are the kind of people you want representing your hotel. We plan on staying here again in the future & will gladly refer people to your property. Good Job Guys.
Great Deal
A9002RLstephenpon 03/08/2017 03:13Clean rooms. Great staff. Terrific breakfast . Fantastic location, You can walk to everything: shops, cafes, including the Lucy Desi museum and all the comedy shows. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Jamestown.
Friendly
10janicekon 01/08/2017 16:13The staff made us feel so welcome with their friendly, caring manner. We were offered suggestions about things to do and see by many different staff members. The hotel is located about 2 blocks from the Lucy/Desi museum (which is superb), and directly across the street from a very good restaurant (Press Room). The breakfast food is good especially the Belgian waffles!
You won't be disappointed
MikeG1952Livon 30/07/2017 19:13Second time staying here. Service is good, rooms clean and friendly staff. Close to Lucy Desi Museum, Panama Rocks Scenic Park and Audabon Society which are worth visits. Value is what you expect from BW. Try to time your trip the end of July, beginning of August to hit the week long Lucy Festival. It is a big to do here with this being her hometown. Big name comedy acts play right across the street that week as an homage to Lucy.
Disappointing
BethlehemPaUSAon 30/07/2017 15:04We didn't want to stay at a $50 a night motel, we thought that by spending some more money we would have a nicer experience.
The room smells of mold as soon as you walk in. There is mold visible on the sheer curtains and on the tub apron. Also the nightstand next to our bed was sticky with the rings from glasses of soda or coffee that spilled and it was never cleaned up. Housekeeping is in the room every day, how can they not notice this? This means
They just don't care.
I also don't like booking a hotel through a third-party app. But the hotels walk in rate was $40 more than I could get on TripAdvisor. And the very nice man at the front desk couldn't do anything about it. So I booked the hotel room from the app while I was standing in front of him.
