bbra04on 17/08/2017 04:31Great place, great location, great rooms, great beach, great service....only 1 little complaint, were there 4 days and didnt find out about the $1.00 open air shutles to take you to CHarlotte Amale, town, we were taking cabs and spending a small fortune, the girl who checked us in should have told us...but great place
Not worth anyone's time
xenia072017on 16/08/2017 15:15This place is terrible!!!! I would not recommend anyone staying here. The negative reviews that we read were beyond accurate once we have stayed here at this resort. This place is dated, things needs fixing inside and outside of the buildings. The only beautiful thing about this place is the beach. The food is not that great at Emerald Beach! I seriously would discourage anyone from staying here. This place is not worth a $20 stay much less over a $100 a night stay.

GeorgetheGermon 15/08/2017 01:38If this resort renovated its rooms, it would be the best on the island. You're paying too much for these rooms. At these prices the rooms should already be up to date. At the very least there should be a small microwave and better refrigerators in the rooms.
But, they have a great bar, great bar staff, great breakfast and servers, good food and a good restaurant. The front desk was always staffed with great people. Most important, the beach is unbelievable, it's one of the best in the VI. We really had a great time and we hope to return for a third time, but only if they invest in their rooms.
Oh and how about an ATM since the water sports and the boutique only accept cash.
Awesome beach resort
476margeson 12/08/2017 23:38My family only stayed at Emerald Beach one evening, our first on St. Thomas, before going onto another resort. The resort is nice,but the beach and beach bar are awesome!! We had quite a wait before they were ready to check us in, but the hotel treated us to a few cocktails for our wait. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms need updating, but for the amount of time we were in them, it was fine. We had dinner on site and it was also good for the price. One big issue, no elevator and three floors. We stayed on second floor and it was difficult to get bags up the stairs and then down. No help from hotel staff. Could be an issue if elderly or have small children.
Close to airport
Sfloridafoodieon 11/08/2017 13:47Great location if you need a hotel for a night so you can catch a flight. Beach is a nice plus and the bar is a nice spot to hangout. Wouldn't recommend it for a vacation stay - not located near any of the tourist sites and you can hear the planes take off and land.
