Extra Fun at Detroit Lakes
G7798OVrichardwon 24/07/2017 20:50Nice location, easy to find, good value with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The waterside is a Plus for the kids and nice pool for all. The best treat for me was finding Lefse available for Breakfast. For me this was an automatic 5-Star rating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who chooses to stay in the Detroit Lakes area.
Nice Place to Stay
debm05on 24/07/2017 18:10This hotel was a great place to stay. My girls enjoyed the big slide in the pool area. I enjoyed the fitness center. The staff was very easy going and very accommodating with any requests we had. The breakfast had a reasonable variety of items to choose from. I thought the beds were a little too bouncy, the pillows were unusually small for some reason, and the AC was a bit too noisy. The room size was nice and not cramped. I liked that the AC did have a continuous fan however, so it didn't wake me up at night as much when the AC would come on and off. Overall, nice place to stay and would definitely stay there again. Cheaper than the Holiday Inn nearby and better amenities.
Dogs Welcome
Z1085HProbinwon 17/07/2017 18:59Great place to stay. Breakfast had a good variety and we notice many dogs. Rooms were comfortable and roomy. In room DVD can be used with videos found in the lobby. Staff was knowledgable about the area and provided options for entertainment.
Room in the basement
Cubone68on 14/07/2017 14:00Our room was in the basement, and was very humid compared to the rest of the building. Not a whole lot of air circulation. I am 5'3 and I could touch the ceilings in the hall flat footed. And the free breakfast was scarce and not very well stocked.

623billiegon 11/07/2017 18:42We stayed here last year and was pleased with everything so returned. It is quite, comfortable and the receptionist is very friendly and accommodating.Detroit Lakes is a beautiful place to visit. What else can you want?
