Decent rooms for the price, good staff, food a little overpriced. Paid 80 dollars,with a coupon, for hamburger mac and cheese, and fish and chips. No real kids menu. Nice location, easy to and from hiway.

We stayed here on a road trip. We did not have reservations, but were able to get a room last minute. We didn't get a river view, but the room was clean. We ate at their restaurant for dinner and breakfast (dinner was get one entree and another half off; and breakfast was included). We were able to eat outside for both meals over the Columbia river. I would stay again if traveling this way.

Rooms were nice and clean. Bed very comfortable. Nice breakfast at restaurant. The only complaint was that not as close as I thought it was to downtown. I like to be able to go out the door and be able to walk to dinner or shopping. There is a path to walk to downtown but took about 30 mins and not sure if lighted at night.

Excellent Stay

Happened to hit a busy time at check-in, however the staff made sure to answer all of our questions, and not rush us. Of course, they did this for everyone, so the check-in wait was 10-15 minutes. The room was clean, comfortable with an awesome view of the river. Excellent restaurants close by, however we didn't want to cross a couple of busy streets and ended up walking a little over a mile to an area with great food choices. Very satisfied, and will probably be back.

Wow! This hotel checked all the boxes for us!

While in Hood River for a weekend wedding, we were fortunate to stay at the Best Western. So glad we did. This hotel had a lot of parking spaces for their guests to choose from. The grounds outside, and the interior lobby were immaculate. The staff checking us in were extremely friendly, and helpful with local knowledge.

We loved the river view whether from a room, or sitting in a lawn chair on the grass; we enjoyed the river so much. Had brought our lawn chairs for this possibility, and enjoyed reading and taking in the view.

Our room was wonderful! Great first impression, so very clean. Loved the king-size bed and the comfortable pillow. Plenty of room for our two suitcases to be stored and utilized. Loved the bathroom, that had ample counter space and towels. (Both for the bath and the pool on the property). With the weather heating up, we had a great AC throughout our stay!!!

Loved the hotel's location to the town's eateries, brew pubs, and the other shops.

Besides attending a beautiful wedding, we enjoyed a lovely town with a very comfortable hotel room where we were made most welcome. We will be back the next time we drive down the gorge!
