Nice room and friendly staff, small bathroom
411touriston 14/08/2017 09:20We had a good time staying at BW Piramida in Maribor, the staff was very friendly, the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was also good and quite varied. The bathroom was clean but small sized, making it a bit difficult to turn around.
The hotel location is within walking distance from old areas of the city, shopping mall, restaurants, bus station and train station; parking is paid.
A short business trip in Maribor

Breakfast is self service that varies from cereals, fresh fruits, hot counter, bread and cake section and also a chiller stocked with cheese and hams. My en-suit room was spacious having tea making facilities, TV, wifi and a wide desk where I could work on my laptop.

The breakfast is good as well, and the service too. The reception was very helpfull whatever questions we had.
central Maribor
828ireneon 19/07/2017 00:23If you are visiting Maribor for the first time this hotel is situated in safe and quiet area between main bus (100m) and train station (200m) and central Maribor is just building block away. Real bargain for a short stay and nice walk by the river.
Blessing in disguise
lian1983phuketon 16/07/2017 21:15We checked in then reported the TV didnt work, left to explore the city. When we returned, we found the TV not fixed, the main light blinked, one reading lamp didnt work, we complained at the reception (the young and smart and handsome Mr. Mastic). Long story short, we were assigned to a nice suite 315, with business room function and bedroom function, everything worked. Our best room in 4 weeks in europe. Very happy. Good sleep. Many tv channels.

It is right next to the police station. Super quiet and secure.

Right at hotel, 5€ /day.
Room:
Our first room was standard twin room, adequate size, small shower room. 2nd room suite was dazzling like a dream of the perfect BW hotel room. Glorious in slovenia.

Good.
Staff:
English speaking, polite.
To be noted:
Due to the building's two-wing design, we had to drag our suitcases up some stairs, then take the elevators on the right or walk to the left end to take another elevator, which is quite confusing at the beginning.
