Convenient & decent hotel
Ahmed Ton 07/07/2017 09:10Mari Vila hotel is located near the highway, thus being easily accessible whereas the same road leads into the heart of Bucharest.
There are several nearby alternative roads to connect you to where you need to be if on business in Bucharest.
The hotel itself is relatively new and has a car parking on two sides as well as a Nicely shaded outside garden for a nice morning coffee.
The rooms are solid, clean and the bed is more than comfortable. I rarely find good pillows but this room had them! I have stayed in this hotel a few years ago and it didn't change - still remains solid.
Bathroom could use some upgrading but it was clean and big enough.
Breakfast is served in the Mezannine floor and provides a continental styls buffet.
Also, could be better, with more food and wider selection of food but, this is the same in hotels all over the world.
Checking in and checking out was quick and simple and staff is polite.
Recommended to business travelers coming to Bucharest with car and looking for a calm, quiet and decent place to stay.
Hotel overall is inexpensive as hovels and literal dumps in the center of Bucharest cost 2-3x more.

Awful lunch

The waiter recommended us the menu of the day. We accepted, but when the soup arrived together with the bread, surprise ... the bread was full of green mold!
The waiter told us that bread has that green colour actually because it was frozen and not because it's made who knows when ...
However the waiter insists that the soup is good but we did not have the courage to eat.
I do not recommend at least to eat there.
One day in Bucharest
Rosanne Bon 04/07/2017 01:49After driving thru remote areas in Romania all we it was lovely to get back to an American style hotel. Very clean and comfortable. It's also got a fabulous free breakfast buffet and plenty of on site parking.
Shameful Hotel
Simon Bon 10/06/2017 19:26Left after 4 hours. The noise in the hotel was a joke. Other guests partying in their rooms with loud music and extensive noise. Asked staff for a new room, was told no and was told by the reception boy that if I didn't like it there were many other hotels in Bucharest. Shamefully rude staff as well as unhelpful and a poorly cleaned room. It is understandable why they have low rates - you get what you pay for.
Nice hotel close to highway A2
adri von 03/02/2017 21:33It was an fine experience. Clean room and spacious. Has a minibar and you can pay in euro if you prefer over local currency. It is just fine if you are heading to Constanta. Free parking. The personnel was friendly.
