Needing a place to stay while doing a construction project, I went with my go to brand. The hotel is very nice with an excellent steak house on the property, breakfast is made to order in the same restaurant, Less than 1/4 mile walk to Lake Shore marina and beach, about the same up to the night life on Lake Tahoe Blvd. Very nice stay I have already booked more nights both for business and returning for a short vacation with the family.

The Hotel is ok - clean and in good location, but diferently as in the other BW hotels the breakfast was served by waiting staff. Every day we were told to tip the waiter. For me it's obvious that the waiter shoul be tiped but it's still my choice and I consider it quite rude to tell me to do so. Even the waiter when he brought the receipt he said "this is for tip".

Great location and great staff. Rooms could do with a little updating, but the service and location was perfect. This was our second stay at the station house Inn and we hope to come back. Breakfast is great as well (cooked to order).

Re-paint, replace dirty, worn carpets/chairs. & kill black mold in bath/shower & it would be a great property

Really this property could be great, because you can just stroll to the lake very easily. The outside is inviting w/beautiful flowers & landscaping. I kept getting bug bites too upon waking up in the mornings. I suspected bed bugs, but did not find one & no one else in my party was bitten; still it kept happening to me & stopped after leaving this property.
