Great value, lovely staff

Enjoyed a spa break here...deal was an overnight stay, breakfast, choice of spa treatment, 4course meal, a cocktail and small bottle of prosecco , all for £100!
Great value, cannot fault at all.
On arrival, I was a little wary as hotel is just off a main road and had an old dilapidated building on grounds opposite. But wow! It was such a surprise when we walked in.
Staff are so friendly, not one ignored us and the restaurant staff were very efficient.
My friend and I had a facial, the lady was lovely, the room had low lighting and soft music playing-so relaxing. Really enjoyed my first facial.
We went to the bar and enjoyed a cocktail before going for dinner.
Meal was great, good choice on menu and plenty of food on plate. The staff were quick to serve the food and clear away and again friendly.
My only complaint was that duty manager? came into restaurant and spoke with guests/some people she knew but ignored other guests... not good!
Next morning breakfast was again very good, fresh food, breads, meats, cheese and an Ulster fry. Food was hot, buffet style but fresh and tea/coffee and toast was served to the table.
Altogether for the money, great value and comfortable rooms.

Very friendly welcome from all the staff made us laugh with comments about our choice of food. Food very well presented and extra attention given to my birthday friend sparkler candle lit and put on dessert also tray bake given to us with our coffee free of charge a nice gesture I will be back again now I have got a taster.

Great atmosphere

The hotel provided great atmosphere and the staff were all helpful towards the whole group that were in attendance at the hotel. The tables were well laid out and in waiting for the carvery there was not of a wait.

A little dated hotel

One of the few chain hotels in Londonderry is the Best Western White Horse hotel, which is located on the outside of town. There is plenty of free parking at the hotel and they main road is next to the hotel. The rooms are average size and they have small safes and some storage space. Whilst the lobby area has been refreshed sadly the rooms are a little dated. The hotel has a nice gym and a good 20 meter pool. The restaurant options are okay but overpriced and the service wasn't great. Sadly there was no recognition of elite status with Best Western and no upgrades for diamond members. All in all a solid low end property which is well located if you are passing through for a night's stay

Very friendly welcome when we checked in. We had a pleasant large room with opening windows. There was plenty of hanging and shelf space, a nice work desk and an area for suite-cases.Very good lighting in bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom had a walk-in shower and plenty of shelf space.The was a tea/coffee kettle set, hairdryer and safe. Wifi was good.
There was ample seating, two comfortable chairs and a table, an upright chair at work space and a two seat sofa.
The restaurant and bar served a selection of meals.
There is ample parking. Although out of town it is on the motorway and is only a few minutes from the airport.
