We needed a reasonably priced hotel in the Jackson area and always stay at best westerns. We had had bad experiences at another BW in the area so despite some questionable reviews we stayed here. I did not find the previous reviews true but this place was also not amazing. It fit the bill for what we wanted but will probably try another hotel in the area if we go back.

Great stay will definitely book again.

The room was clean and the air conditioner was already running so the temperature was just right when I walked into the room. There was no problems at all. Will be booking again the breakfast was good.

Natchez Trace Stop Over

Just 5 minutes off the Natchez Trace at Clinton, MS, we were checked in by Pauline. When we opened the door we were pleased to find a mini-suite. The entrance into a mini-office/lounge room had a bathroom to the left, next was mini-kitchenette, which led to the final space holding a super large King Size Bed, together with an enormous TV. A short stroll across the carpark to Applebees for a steak, then back through the drizzle to Best Western, stopping at our car, parked in front of the motel, to take out our last of our "Arkansas Oranges", offering one to Pauline to thank her for her welcome. She graciously accepted the orange and we gratefully slept in a soft, comfortable bed, in a room with everything we needed. Everything was clean and the room furnishings new. Breakfast was the usual mix and served downstairs.

A disappointed stay

Best Western is always our favourite hotel to stay. But our stay this time resulted in disappointment. We booked this as it was near I20 .
Pros :

1) Very helpful staff. Staff changed our room because our bath room was locked

Cons :
1)When we came for breakfast at 8:30, there was nothing available to eat. We left hungry
2) Beds were the most uncomfortable
3) Rooms smell very bad.

Ridgeland Inn

This satisfied our need to rest overnight during our trip from Birmingham AL to Dallas TX. The room was clean and the refrigerator worked well. We were concerned because we could not engage the security lock. We placed our bags in front of the door and slept well in the comfortable bed. There were two built in shampoo dispensors that were different colors. I don't know if one was shampoo and one was conditioner or if there were two different types of shampoo. I thought this was a good savings of half used shampoo products, but found it odd for there to be two different colors with no explanation.
