Food and beverage and accomodation
Péter Son 02/08/2017 23:11The sevice is very good. It's worth to book breakfast because they have a very hugh sortiment on all kind and type of food.
The staff is very kindly.
The rooms are good equiped and around the hotel is very silent.
The city center is not far away from the hotel.
Great little hotel with nice friendly staff
Richard Yon 03/07/2017 16:28I stayed here last week while working in the Messe area for a client. Location wise this was the closest to where I was working and if you ignore google maps and walk through the park then it is only a twenty minute walk to the exhibition centre in Messe. The staff were all friendly from check-in at reception and the bar/restaurant waiters/waitresses. The room was clean and comfortable and I had three beds in the room. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable both in my room and the restaurant. Breakfast buffet is a little expensive for what you get and the church opposite start ringing their bells from 06:00 each morning but apart from that an excellent stay here and would definitely book again if back in the area.
Clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff
Whirobon 02/02/2017 21:11I stayed here with a colleague whilst attending an exhibition at the Messe. My room was on the ground floor, clean and quiet (facing away from the road). There is fast free WiFi; my room had a comfortable bed, was well-heated and had flat-screen TV.
If you are visiting the Messe you have about a half-hour walk.
Parking was free but recently a €2 per day has been introduced; still very reasonable compared to the rates if you park near the Messe.
Good value - recommended!
Absolutely competitive (and pleasant), but beware:
Gerhard1945on 02/10/2016 10:09walking from the underground station ("Messestadt Ost"), you either need GPS or simply follow the main road (De Gasperi-Bogen) in the direction of travelling for about 400 yds until you come to an asphalted bycicle and pedestrian 'alley', which leads straight to Salmdorf (the village you are headed for, you see a church spire) and actually Hotel Seidlhof. In daylight this is all good and well, but a sign pointing to the Hotel (or more neutrally, its street address!) would be great or barring that, receptionists who could tell you instead of stammering or suggesting a taxi (entirely superfluous unless your bags are un-luggable). This is a serious request. "Apart from that," Seidlhof is very pleasant, our room was spacious, breakfast buffet ample (the cheese selection could be improved, but then Bavarians are carnivores). Now if you don't mind a twenty minute metro ride from central station, and then a ten minutes walk, it's (by our experience) excellent value for money--also for doing Munich.
