portillomayorgaon 10/07/2017 22:08We paid for this hotel 3 moths and advance, and when we got their they did not have the 7 cabins I paid for, therefore they want to separate the group by sending two parties to another hotel. They changed my reservation in order to accommodate the entire group, they reimburse only 250 pesos when I paid 1,400 pesos per room

LegalMexicanon 11/06/2016 13:34This hotel consists of small, unconnected cabins in a lovely setting. The cabins could be a bit larger, but they work well as is. Well-appointed and well cared for. It has all the usual offerings of hotels but goes one step further. There are DVD players in the cabins and a large collection of movie DVDs in the lobby that you can choose from. No extra charge. I liked that. My wife and I watched two movies. And the cabins have fireplaces due to the generally cool weather in Mazamitla.

This Hotel/Cabañas is located some five minutes drive from Mazamitla center and two hours average drive from Guadalajara. The check-in office is along the main road to Mazamitla. There you will be assigned to the reserved cabaña which is fabulously situated in this mountain ridge. We had an unfortunate circumstance with Hurricane Patricia, the strongest of all times hitting the Jalisco Pacific Coast, which put a strain on the roofing of some cabañas wich started to leak after the prolonged rains. The sleeping arranged is very good and so is the kitchenette in my cabaña. The Hotel has a very good restaurant La Quinta. The selection of food is very good and that all made our stay, in this surrounding woody area, a very pleasant one.

Lovesbeach_9on 22/07/2015 00:25We did not stay at this hotel, we just stopped to est here sine the restaurant across the street was closed. The food was awesome, we asked for the parrillada for four people, we were only three people, it consists of chicken, beef, chorizo and lots of shrimp, it was delicious!!! The price is reasonable, service great, decoration was rustic, will defintely go back.
