We came in for the night

Well, after reading the reviews we had some reservations about making our own reservations but the fact the staff did acknowledge those short comings, We came to a conclusion they would have addressed them and decided to give them a chance and we are glad we did because our room was very clean and comfortable, it was quiet and we got what we went there for a good nights sleep and we could take our pet in with us and not have to him the car for the night, we did pay extra for that privilege but we believe in being honest. We wished we had more time to stay as it seem like that area had lots of enjoyable things to do, maybe next year.

Last minute trip

Saw the low rate and decided to throw some things in a bag and spend the night. Got a bottom floor room on the back side . Quiet with tables and chairs outside your door. Room felt a little damp. Still another good stay.

Amazing Retreat

The entire Smoke House establishment is amazing. It is truly a one stop getaway with everything one needs to have a memorable getaway. The Smoke House grounds include the cozy cabins nestled away in the woods,the clean motel, playground and pool, a rustic restaurant with delicious comfort food and smoked meats and a sprawling gift shop with endless displays of antiques and historical memorabilia. Also,the Friday and Saturday night live music is as good as any Nashville show. The entire Smoke House staff is friendly and knowledgeable of area attractions. The Smoke House getaway is a great experience for the whole family.

relaxing trip

not much to tell. when there for a quiet few days of relaxation. it was well worth the trip. I would go back again. nice restaurant and small shopping store to enjoy. weekend music sometime free. have a good time.

My husband and I were on our way home from Florida. We were searching for a place to stay for the night. Hotels in the area were very pricey. My husband seen a sign for this place so I called and they had one cabin left they gave to us for half price. I must say it's been my most favorite place to stay! I would of rather spent a week here over the week in Florida we just left! Service was too notch, everyone is friendly and kind. Perfect little cabin in the woods. Very clean and cozy! Can't wait to come back and spend more time.
