Beautiful, High End Venue right on your front door
Marcus Gon 23/08/2017 18:28I am an events manager and i plan a number of high end events, I am going to be using them amazing venue as its only 10 minutes off the M4 and its set in beautiful surroundings with loads and loads of outside space with beautiful grounds.
The interior is completed to a very high standard along with each room having its own unique feel.
There is an on site spa and swimming pool which is also free to use for staying guests.
I cannot wait to host events at this venue, this venue really is one to check out

Smelly room, stains on bedding, towels and walls.
Health and saftey have been informed as electrics are out of date and dangerous.
Awful night sleep, complained to the young girl on the desk who just rolled her eyes as we disturbed her texting on her phone.
Also spoke to Manger and she clearly was stressed and fed up with the whole situation.
This hell hole should be shut down!!!!!!!!

Sarah J Con 21/08/2017 13:43I didn't realise that hotels like this still existed in the UK! It was like going back in time to when hygiene standards were an option! Probably easiest if I provide the same list I gave to reception on the night of our stay:
1) Dirty stained towels
2) Mould ALL OVER the bathroom ceiling
3) Hairs in the bath tub
4) Broken curtains which did not draw
5) Out of date electrical safety testing stickers
6) Hairdryer not turning on
7) Stains all over the walls
We didn't want to cause a fuss as we were staying for a friends wedding but did discretely have a word with the receptionist. To be fair, she did say this was unacceptable but did not seem surprised! She did have a chat with her manager and we were offered a different room. However, we had been in to see the bridal suite (I assume the best room in the hotel) and this was pretty much the exact same room but with some flocked wallpaper! It was already 10pm at night and didn't much want to move our things to another room which would have the same problems. Needs a total overhaul and until then, the prices need to be seriously reduced. I would suggest staying the Premier Inn just down the road instead of here.
The food we had during the wedding and for breakfast was actually surprising tasty, but was again let down by the presentation. We were not expecting michelin starred food but it was so slapped down on plate, and you do eat with you eyes, we were instantly put off. A little more consideration to detail wouldn't go a-miss.
Overall - skip this hotel!

Kellbell91on 20/08/2017 01:21Horrific faulty towers do not stay here , staff awful rooms a disgrace and the worst wedding ever do not stay here!!! The food is greasy, as much as they say it's amazing food it's terrible. Run cheap, and it shows.

sharonhopkins33on 11/08/2017 19:07Stayed here for a wedding I booked 2 rooms for my family and half was in the main hotel the other half of family were put what I can only describe as dirty chalets. Big stains where headboard should of been room stunk of damp, towels under the radiator as it was leaking and handle missing from draw. Room in the main hotel was however very nice but needed updating. Bar staff and waitresses very nice but reception staff did not give eye contact and didn't really want to listen to complaints trying to blame the wedding coordinater with over booking.would not stay again. Only good thing was wedding was fantastic and made the stay worthwhile.
