All needs met. Clean . Go with breakfast option, very good.
Staff very helpful.
Easy walking distance to town. Railway station across the road. Great option for visitors without car.
Deplorable
Goldsmith007on 09/08/2017 14:26I entered cocktail bar 12.15 pm and it was 12.50 pm before the staff member appeared. I think her gossiping at front desk was more important than serving her customers. I ordered the
Cullen Skink ( big mistake) it was like dish water and really a tiny bowl of only potato soup.
This place is tired and dated needs a complete refurbishment as it's not fit for purpose.
I remain bitterly disappointed.
Nice place, nice location
CJohengenon 02/08/2017 09:29It was fun to stay in a classic railroad hotel that has been spruced up and modernized. The room and especially the bathroom were a little bit small, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was cleverly arranged. We enjoyed walking around the city, and the hotel was conveniently away from much noise and surrounded by a nicer neighborhood of Victorian houses. We got a good night's sleep, and breakfast in the bistro was nice.
This is a Good Hotel in a Handy Location.
justrovingon 16/07/2017 15:44Just spent a couple of nights here in a king bed room. The room was clean and spacious with a nice shower room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. As mentioned in other reviews the building is old but the décor is modern and tasteful.
Staff were very friendly and efficient in all areas of the hotel. We ate in the bistro on two occasions and the food was good and reasonably priced. We had no problem parking our car outside the door. All in all a very enjoyable stay and yes, we would stay again if visiting the area.
