We stayed at this motel on 9 and 10 August having booked and paid for 3 nights. We decided to after two nights to move on as was unwell and could not sleep at night because constant and heavy traffic noise. For these reasons we had thought we would move after 1 night but decided to give the place another try.
A request for refund was declined with the response we should have given 24 hours notice, we were not aware of that requirement and, in any event, would have thought that advice at around 9.00 on the day would been adequate.
We would have to think twice about using a Best Western establishment in the future, bearing in mind we referred to itsCentral Administration and have had no reply.

I found this accommodation handy to everything I need. Transport and food. Public transport right at the door and a varied choice of place to get meals from. Except that the traffic was a bit noisy at peek hour I can not fault this accommodation. Service was excellent

The hotel is very well situated with easy access from 2 streets, plenty of car spaces, good amenities we had a large room well equipped, a small well appointed shopping centre is across the road, good place to stay for a stay in Brisbane

The Sunnybank Star is a well-appointed and well-run motel. The room was a good size, clean, functionally furnished and well-equipped (iron, toaster, cooling/heating air conditioner, etc). The reception staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Our booking inckuded breakfast but as breakfast was only available on weekdays we were provided boxed breakfasts which were sufficient. Also as we arrived later and departed earlier than the reception hours there was an easy and secure process to getting and returning the room card.

Went above and beyond!!

This motel was great and went above and beyond what I expected after a mix up with the reservation (not motels fault at all) They treated me wonderfully well and found a room for me when I was in a jam.

Would highly recommend.
