The front desk lady Vickie tried to tell me Priceline said I chose a King bed, non-handicap. I told her my mother needed a handicap room & Priceline said my room would be assigned at check-in. She tried to charge me $20 for handicap!!! Something about only having handicap available in two queens & out rate was for a King. We arrived after a long, hot, exhausting day. Otherwise, I never would have tolerated this poor choice. I actually stayed in this hotel 10+ years ago (when it was aBW) & rooms looked JUST the same. Looking back at pics I took that day, it appears these are probably the same window blinds, metal racks, etc. The mattress KILLED my back.!!! It was literally like laying on bumpy, grassy ground. It was WAY too hard & offered no joint-support. The room was just grimy...I think the pics speak to that. The only two good things I can say about the room was there were clean towels & the TV was big, modern. The pool environment was loud from being placed very close to the highway and probably hadn't been cleaned in a week. The cereal & yogurt for breakfast were fine, but couldn't even get the microwave to work long enough to warm up oatmeal. Biscuits were crunchy, rock-hard. Would have been MUCH better off at a Motel 6 or something similar.

This hotel offers MUCH for the price! Our group took two rooms, both of which were clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was large and kept clean. Breakfast included several choices of hot food. The hotel welcomed our small dog and required only a refundable deposit. (Morning inspection is required.) This hotel is now our top choice for a stay in Guthrie!

After reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor about this place, I finally got tripped!
Pros: good price and friendly service
Cons: Road noise, stained sheets that had to be replaced, and a blood splatter on the wall.
I will not stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights here. It was right off the highway but not noisy. Clean and reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning included. The outside door did not work with our keys but it worked fine for the room.
Good Value Hotel

I spent a weekend here in September and again the end of October to attend football games at OSU. Stillwater was booked and this was the closest available. I was very pleased with the value and I would consider the hotel above average, especially for a best value inn. They used to be Best Western and are in the process of changing over and so far seem to be doing a good job with the transition. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast with hot and cold items and a good variety. Definitely would stay here again if Stillwater gets over booked.
