Nice stay for our trip to the Ark. Stayed in the king suite which was spacious and comfortable. Clean. Slept well.

I would stay here again when I'm back in this area, close to many amenities in area. Very clean property it looks brand new, and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a nice stay in this area!

Days Inn is always so accommodating. The smiles and helpfulness is so appreciated. I don't like the strange looking people but that's just my feeling. can't do much about that :)

Lesson Learned

This place was extremely ghetto. When I first walked into the first floor to check in it appeared nice. Check in was a smooth process and the staff was friendly and nice. When I was assigned to my room it was on the 3rd floor I proceeded to the elevator and went to the 3rd floor. The moment I stepped off I smelled a heavy scent of marijuana. The carpets were stained and the walls were stained and the wall paper was peeling. I proceeded to my room which at first glance appeared ok. I immediately dropped off my things and headed out to grab some food since I just drove 7 hours. On my way out I stopped at the counter and let them know about the marijuana smell. When I got my food and came back in the lady at the front desk asked me which floor I was on again and I said 3rd. She told me that is the smoking floor so there is nothing they can do since they can't knock on each door and ask who is smoking. I then explained I was pregnant and should not be on the smoking floor. She told me that was how I booked my room online. I did not see any options or indications that I was getting a smoking room. She told me that since I have been checked in more then 10 min they were not allowed to switch my room. In order to not be difficult I left it at that and figured I was there for work and would only be using the hotel to sleep. When I proceeded to the room and sat my food down I went to use the restroom and noticed burn marks on the sink and yellow stains everywhere. Then I went and checked the bed and when I pulled back the sheet the bed liner underneath had hair from other women who have slept there before me. There were burn marks in the sheets & 1 pillow had black stains that looked like mascara from someones makeup. The curtains had the worst stains of all and rips in them as well. (I have pictures of all of this). When I went to take my next mornings shower the tub was dirty and I had to wash it myself. The marijuana smell lasted the whole week I was there and I could smell it in my room. By the 3rd night I'm pretty sure there was a domestic dispute in the hall way between a man and a woman where I'm pretty sure he slammed her a few times because she kept screaming "You're hurting me stop" and then I would feel the ground and wall shake and a loud slam noise. I minded my own business to keep myself out of harm. I noticed there were cameras in the hall and I was hoping the staff would see and intervene, but this went on for what seemed like 20 min.
