Location is the greatest asset!

Loved the location. That's all. 3 mins down the steps from the beach. Lovely beach walk to the pier (molo), and also to Gdynia Orłowo. Also very convenient for aquapark and spa. Enjoyed that.
Booked last minute, but not any cheaper. Initially offered a better room (110), but on arrival got one of rather low standard (103) in a stuffy corridor with no ventilation whatsoever! The room was supposed to be a double, but turned out to be twin. Got permission to move beds, and what came from underneath was really shocking. Dust, feathers, stained carpets. Hair on the headboard of the beds... They really need to improve the standards of cleaning. Got the reception to change the room, but faced a rather ignorant reaction. Not a word of apology. Funny faces instead.
Definitely overpriced for the standard and also for the quality of customer service.
Didn't buy a breakfast, but wanted to get a quick coffee before we left. No one was available to make it for me in the restaurant for over ten minutes. Shame, really.
Otherwise, ok.

Smart and modern rooms with clean contemporary dining hall. Pleasant enough reception with free to use computer, printer and wifi good throughout. We booked a "luxury" room which adds in a balcony and a bit more space than a std. However... balcony overlooks two main roads and the front car park.
Ive asked to see an alternative so we'll see what happens. Lovely breakfast spread but sadly all displayed uncovered allowing the all too prevelant flies of Poland to enjoy also.
I chose the only covered food scrambled egg and bacon. Shame.

We will visit Villa Aqua once more! Definitelly

Very clean and well-kept, modern hotel. We were impressed by the variety of the meals served during buffet breakfast. The staff were very nice. Hotel has a great location, you can always go for a walk by the sea. It is near the railway station. We were so delighted that we kept extending our stay. Hope to see You next time!

for what you get it is too expensive

Friendly staff but that's nearly all. Far away from the beach. You have to walk 10-15 through a parc with some steps to reach the beach. About 2,5km from the centrum away, so if you want to go by foot it is ok but not 4 times the day. The rooms are very small and should be renovated. The furniture seems to be from the 80ies.
Leaving the parking garage you have to be very careful, the exit is very poky.
This hotel is really too expensive for what you get.

Everything was in line with my expectations

It was my third stay in VA. It should do as a recommendation itself. I like VA mostly for location: few minutes walk to the beach, away from noisy Sopot, which is still easily accessible. The neighbouring park is excellent for joggers, rollers and bikers. Very good breakfast is also worth to be mentioned. Good value for money.
