What People are saying
Convenient location
karoleighon 07/08/2017 01:42The inn is very expensive in an area that is high priced, but we spent one night at this inn. The hotel is nothing special for the price that you pay. I suspect that due to the short season and the inn's location, it is more expensive than what you would pay for a similar accommodation elsewhere. I did like the people at the check-in. They were a very lovely husband and wife team working behind the desk. The inn is within easy walking distance to all town shopping restaurants. The hotel, like many other Best Westerns, has a 24-hour front desk, which would be helpful for long-distance travelers who arrive late or want to check out early. WiFi was fine. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. If you do make a reservation, make sure that when you arrive you know which Best Western by address you are staying at, because there are three Best Westerns in town! I was impressed by the service. We had an issue with the shower head, called upon them to fix it, and we went out to dinner. When we returned, they had already installed a completely new shower head! My only complaint about this facility was that they had very limited seating space for the breakfast area, and it was very crowded.
Great Yellowstone Experience!
Thomas Pon 05/08/2017 23:09My wife and I were very impressed with the quality of service and the staff at this hotel. On the day we arrived, we were two hours early for the check in, but they had a no-show that day and accommodated our request for an early check-in. Every day, they were very helpful and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was excellent; and they never ran out of food, despite the fact that the hotel was full and there were many guests each morning at breakfast. This is an older hotel, but the rooms were updated and very well-maintained.
Only chain hotel we could find literally just outside the park, and price was right!
Adje1124on 03/08/2017 21:37We got nervous once we exited the park late at night to see tons of mom and pop motels. It would have been fine and more of an adventure had it been just hubs and I, but we also had my mom and our 7yo and toddler with us. Luckily we phoned 2 days earlier and they had a cancelation. We were on 2nd floor, no elevator. Parking lot was small and needed more light, but there was extra parking a few yards away. Pool was outside and across the parking lot.
We got a small queen suite. It was a bit cramped for the 5 of us, but we made do and slept well. The bathroom was just big enough to turn around in, but nice. New tile. Good shower, had a rainfall shower head and mounted shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers, but there wasn't any shower gel in ours. The shampoo smelled and felt amazing! Nice surprise. The AC was not consistent and got a little warm middle of the night no matter what we did with it, but was finally nice before we woke up. Breakfast was good too- again, tight quarters but we had it all to ourselves for quite a while since it seemed everyone else left for the park much earlier lol. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and asked about us and our trip. Very nice visit all around!
North to Alaska
Q9519VKjameslon 01/08/2017 04:30Overnight stay near Yellowstone on my way to Seattle for an Alaska Trip. Best Western was the Best stay of my travels. Friendy and efficent staff, very clean room. Close to shopping and resturants. Nice Breakfast Room and lots of choices.
Great Spot!
bmcconasteron 31/07/2017 16:15The breakfast area was a bit small but boy oh boy was the park beautiful the whole town was small so nothing was far. We walked everywhere in town, a good change of pace from sitting in the car for so long! The staff here was FANTASTIC! Front desk was helpful. I believe they were the managers but I am not sure. Price was a bit high, but worth not driving another couple of hours. Great Stay!
