What People are saying

Poor service...place was filthy too!

les don 09/05/2017 12:41

This place is disgusting! Do not let your loved ones stay here if you care about them. Aside from the place being filthy the two male clerks were not of any help with a I don't care about you attitude. You have been warned.

Quality Inn? They should re-name it just “Inn”

Gar Von 24/04/2017 16:06

Our group walked in to the front desk and waited more than 5 minutes before anyone appeared. After picking up the card-keys to our room, several of us had to play for a while before we could get the cards to open our doors. At one point, the manager came down to jiggle the card-key in and out before we could open the door. (We were told that getting a new card-key wouldn’t make any difference.)

Two light bulbs in our room were burnt out and the florescent lights above the sink worked at about 25%. The ceiling fan shroud in the bathroom was hanging down, but we fixed that ourselves. The sink stopper barely let water drain. The internet was very slow. Our first floor view was of a 6’ wood fence placed four feet from our window, so there was no view but on the plus side, it was quiet.

Our other older, retired friends had to haul their luggage to the second floor as there is no elevator. (I assumed elevators were required in all hotels with more than one floor, but apparently that’s not true.) Non-smoking rooms were not available for several of our group and so they had to put up with the smoke smell in their rooms. The breakfast was basic and OK - it was free, but all but one of our group preferred to have breakfast somewhere else. The outdoor pool was closed, but it is April, so I can’t complain.

I won’t mention a name because I wouldn’t want to be the cause of possible termination, but one employee greeted us that reeked of marijuana. Our whole group rolled their eyes and laughed because it was so very obvious from 10’ away.

Overall, I would rate this place 1 star, but because the beds were OK, the room was clean and the shower was hot, I upped the rating to 2 stars. My wife would not have stayed here, but it was a guy’s weekend, so what the heck!

Weekend Retreat

The hotel was a great place for a weekend retreat. For a couple who wanted to RELAX away from the city, it was perfect. The staff was friendly and attentive. In the surrounding area we found nice boutiques and family owned restaurants.

Nice hotel

This is a nice hotel, room was clean, big bathroom that was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was good, tv had guide channel which I love to see. Went down for breakfast about 8:30 and wasn't much left to eat but had a few things which was ok. The ONLY problem I had was the VERY RUDE house keeper than ran her mouth to me leaving my room. And the day guy wasn't very friendly either. Other than the rudeness and attitudes there it was nice.

No complaints

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. No complaint at all. Front desk was pleasant. Breakfast was ok (not a breakfast food eater). Location was a very short distance from what appeared to be downtown Winder and the main roads to the interstate were not far at all. The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not to the point where I couldn't sleep. The heater worked very well being that it was 37° out! It was worth the money spent.
