on 11/08/2017 02:00We have always loved zoders,stayed there for years. Disappointed this trip. Our room was very run down, curtain wouldn't open, broken living room chair, hard to open the mirror closet. Landscaping not what it use to be. Feel theu need to update breakfast to include more hot options like eggs. Sausage, bacon. Their sausage gravy was filled with pepper, no sausage. We love the pools, wine and cheese and milk and cookies. I know it has been devasting for them with the fires and such but please do some remodeling.super super nice family that believe in tradition. I hope they are able to fix things up more!

Frank Mon 06/08/2017 17:21We have stayed at Zoders five times and I was really hoping to give it a higher rating but unfortunately the rooms and service are in need of some work. I am not ready to give up on them because we have always had a great experience in the past but this stay was not so great. The hotel is nice but is in need of some updating. The cottage we stayed in even had a slot in the wall for disposing of razor blades, that gives you an idea of how long it has been since the room was updated. The room smelled musty too but we got used to it after a few days. The TV reception was poor. The Wi-Fi reception was non-existent. They are in the process of updating some rooms and replacing roofs. I wish they offered more choices at breakfast instead of just cereal, toast, and yogurt. They do offer a few other items but it is very limited. No eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, or pancakes. In my opinion I would rather have more breakfast options and do away with the wine and cheese tasting. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the wine and cheese tasting but if they had to cut that in order to provide a better breakfast selection I would be for it. Housekeeping does an OK job of cleaning the room but it obvious they do not vacuum every day. We had some powered sugar that had gotten on the carpet from a donut and we cleaned it up the best we could with paper towels but there was still some on the carpet. It was still there after housekeeping cleaned the room. The following day it was gone. The staff that we did talk too was very nice and friendly. No worries about the new mountain coaster next door, you can hear it outside if you have a river side room but you cannot hear it if you are inside your room. The view isn't as nice as it used to be because of the coaster but it is a tourist town.

HerfMomon 31/07/2017 19:08First time staying and really enjoyed the location. Can walk easily to downtown places. Room needs to be updated but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved the view from the balcony. They offer military discount which is great. Pools were very nice. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff is nice and efficient. Would stay again!
Another perfect trip

Every employee we encountered was exceptional ,especially our room cleaner and the wine and cheese lady who has served us for years. Signs of the fire are still visible very close to Zoders and I am so glad they didn't have more damage from it. We were a little concerned about the new roller coaster next door but we were down stream from it and never knew it was open.. No noise at all. Never been in the fall and we are considering a return visit to Zoders instead of a Florida trip because this place is so relaxing.

The rooms are just average rooms slightly dated but overall very clean. The balcony directly overlooked the stream so that was nice.
The pool area was nice . The breakfast was very mediocre to say the least . ( microwave biscuits and watery gravy )
The wine and cheese was an okay touch . ( the wine was good the cheese taste as if it had been left out for awhile )
The milk and cookies were great for kids.
For the price and cost of the room we would most likely not return though.
