A must stay place in Venice
Max120368on 06/11/2016 21:41Amazing location in the only inhabited building at the San Marco square. The view is really unreally fantastic. One must have the experience of overnighting just behind the clock mechanism of the Watch tower and over the night life of the square.
Venice Sightseeing Trip.
Martin Bon 24/10/2016 19:15We were a couple staying in Venice for 2 nights on holiday. We had booked the ANTICO PANADA Hotel but when we arrived at the hotel, we were told that we would be staying in another hotel about 100 metres back towards St. Marks’ Square. The hotel was the Best Windows hotel an we were taken by a porter and shown an executive suite which was on the 5th. Floor with no lift. The room was very spacious and it overlooked Saint Mark's Basilica and the San Marco Campanile tower.
The breakfast was back at the ANTICO PANADA and was typically continental but there was plenty to eat and drink.
You pay for the view & location
cpj79on 06/12/2015 11:38As many of the view state on here, the views from the room are incredible. You do pay for the view & location, the room itself whilst visually pretty, is actually quite basic, lacking detail (i.e coffee making facilities are provided but no UHT milk etc)
The hotel keys are collected from another Hotel reception, so this is more like an apartment than an actual hotel (i.e no bar, reception, concierge etc). We were served by a slim, young man in glasses, who was awesome, great customer service.
Our room was up four flights of stairs, which could be an issue for some people.
This is a highly recommended hotel, but it is basic.
Stunning wiew

I suggest the hotel to offer more comfort such as slippers, bathrobe and a welcome gift as it is supposed to be a luxury accommodation. I recommend the hotel as the view has no price , but I suggest the hotel to empower the customer experience
In the heart of venice
Roberto Fon 02/12/2014 11:15First thing you need to go to another hotel to do check in (Panada Hotel) and they don't tell you that in the instructions. After we hunted down the hotel and did check in we got to our room, you need 3 keys to get in to the room. We got room 701 looking straight to San Marco's square. First impression is old looking and dirty but after checking the room it was really clean. Room has a lot of space. What I recommend to the hotel is to change some of the old furniture and give a little more light to the room it was kind if dark with all the lights on. I recommend this hotel if you are staying 1 to 2 nights, but if you are staying more time there are better and cheaper hotels.
