Worst Motel we have ever stayed at.

We booked a two night stay online and made it clear we were bringing our dog. We were quoted a price and received a confirmation of price and that we were bringing a pet. When we checked in the desk clerk charged us an extra $40.00. I showed her the printout and she said they didn't charge $20.00 per night pet fee. I protested that nothing was ever said about a "pet fee" either on the website or when I called and discussed the dates, the fee, and again discussed the dog. Didn't phase her. If it hadn't been for a 24 hour cancellation fee clause we would have left then. The phones didn't work. "None of them work back there. We think it's the phone companies fault." The room had an awful odor. The carpet was torn away at the door and was dirty. The chairs were filthy. The quilt on the bed had holes and was stained. The awning over the patio was in shreds. A chunk was missing out of the patio door. The curtain had holes in it. The outside columns which supported the second story were crumbling dangerously at the base. We will never, ever book at this place again!

Over priced for the rooms!

The rooms were just ok and need updating. There was caution tape across a section which had storm damaged and not repaired. The pop machine on the first floor didn't work, the ice machine is in a long hallway, that looked scary. The rooms weren't the cleanest.

We came down to Madison to visit family, decided we did not need a super fancy hotel, and this fit the need. Although this property is older and very dated, we found our room to be clean, well stocked with towels, clean bedding and plenty of hot water. The room has a small refrigerator and a small microwave, it also had an iron and coffeemaker. The usual amenities. There is a pool, but we did not use it. They provide a continental breakfast for hotel guests. WiFi is provided free to hotel guests. The weather was very hot and humid while we were visiting, and our AC did a good job of keeping our room comfortable. To my surprise, some of the lights are on timers, so if one falls asleep, the lights don't stay on all night! Check in was quick and easy, and staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We have 2 Yorkies, and they are welcome here! Many channels on the t.v. Location is great with lots of places to eat close by. Plan on staying there again soon. You won't be disappointed.

Was well worth the cost. Clean bathrooms. Clean linens.
Hotel needs to use kilz on its rooms. I have stayed at this hotel several times. The no smoking rooms smell very badly of smoke. I always carry febreze with me for this reason.
