SunshineYell0won 03/07/2017 14:40Bethel Guest House is in a very good location... facing the famous Rizal Bvld. It is close to good restaurants and Siliman University, and Dumaguete Cathedral. The room is simple but spacious, just right for an overnight stay. Breakfast is a simple Filipino meal, good and reasonably priced. Wifi is not very reliable, 'though. I appreciated the free airport pick up. Overall, it was a good stay and will definitely return and recommend.
Love at first stay
olintahaon 13/06/2017 07:49Who wouldn't fall in love w/ this view from your room? But first thing that impressed me was their free airport pick up. Other hotels charges php300.00. And finally, a breakfast of native tsokolate and sticky rice delicacies.
functional, no charm
Verena Lon 10/06/2017 10:44I stayed at Bethel guest house for two nights in a single room. The place is functional and clean, but has no charm. Most rooms don't have windows and I was unlucky enough to be right next to the service room. I could hear noise from there all night long. Luckiest I brought earplugs.
otherwise: towel provided, hot water, free drinking water in the hallway
Overall, practical if you only need a place to sleep, good location, though I probably wouldn't go back.
Great food....
Navigator1063on 12/05/2017 07:32i travelled to Dumaguete just recently. it was a six-hour bus trip from Bacolod City to Dumaguete. My first stop was Bethel Guest House for lunch...
As usual, there was a big array of food and I can't help not to finish my entire orders of Beef stew and Callos...i love the food very much and the price, oh my....very reasonable, not to mention that the restaurant is overlooking the boulevard.
i only had one comment, though, the proximity of the chairs along the counter is very close and some guests did not mind at all that somebody is sitting and enjoying their meal, and will just bumped the chair!!!
but other than this, the place is really great. i hope the next time i am back, there will be enough space from the counter to the tables to avoid this kind of inconvenience.
Bethel house, a great find
deejay_ayenon 02/05/2017 04:07They have great service here.They allowed our bags to be deposited even when our check in date is supposed to be the following day. They were very accommodating an helpful. Rates there are very affordable, even the food you order from their cafe.
It's near Sans Rival bistro and facing the Rizal blvd. Rooms are spacious and clean. Best place to stay in when in Dumaguete city.
